So many great locations in one video, really liked the images you managed to capture as well. Think this is the reality of most landscape photographers , we dont get the opportunity to keep revisiting locations until we get the conditions we are after, you just have to make the best of the location as you find it, and you certainly did that . Really liked that !

Louise Gorgeous pictures what a great lighthouse and pictures . Reminds me of Northern California rock formations off the coast similar to these. Crescent City has a lighthouse on a rock formation overlooking the city. I spent a week touring the Northern California Coast with a hiking group. We hiked the Redwood forest each day in the morning and spent the afternoon at the coast . The trees were so large I used my Rokinon 14mm2.8 astrophotography lens to photograph the trees

You need to do the Wild Atlantic Way. Rest of Donegal coast is spectacular. Next counties south of Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim, are full of mountains, beaches, lakes, forests, waterfalls etc. Mayo has similarly dramatic cliffs etc. Galway has desolate mountains and vast boglands. Clare has another craggy coastline and cliffs. Limerick……..exists (sorry Limerick). Kerry is like the Isle of Skye, Cornwall and the Lake District rolled into one. West Cork is more spectacular coastline and mountains and the last bit towards Kinsale is like the coast of Brittany.

I and I think many others would be happy with what you didn’t like. 😊. The “soft” image because of the wind looked absolutely fine on my 55” OLED TV. I think we try too hard to get every shot pin sharp at 100% zoom and we really don’t need to. The images are lovely the locations stunning and the video enjoyable. I think and I emphasise the “I think”, the problem we all have is seeing fabulous dramatic or moody shots from places and then expecting to get the same on one or two visits. The chances are the fabulous images are by photographers that go there on a regular basis. That stay close enough to get great shots in stormy conditions or even in glorious sunshine depending on the location. I think we put too much pressure on ourselves to get the great shots. I went to Glen Affric in 2021 and stayed locally for a week. I visited the view point daily until eventually everything fell into place. One of the few times if not the only time I’ve done something like that and it paid off.
@louisewelcomephotography5 ай бұрын
@@AccessiblePhotography ahhh Alistair, do you know, that soft shot looked better on my big screen than it did in my editing suite. I think a bit of distance from looking at an image can be helpful.
