That's not what the Bible tells us. It tells us that "the whole world lies in the lap of the evil one" and that Satan "goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour." BUT that is all at God's permission. God is sovereign, and once the time for Satan to be loose and testing the nations is over, God will reclaim what was always His. That is where our hope lies - that "this present darkness" is temporary...painful, yes, but temporary. Christ will return in His chosen time to save His people. It's on us to wait and endure until then.

I respect bro Voddie very much and the many truths spoken from Scripture; however, one crucial teaching is the fact that the first resurrection cannot be the resurrection of Christ and all who believe in Him (spiritual resurrection), but all who have slept in Christ, and who are alive and remain on the day of His coming (Jesus said,"I will raise him up on the last day"). After the first resurrection, this present evil age will pass away and Satan's rule over the world's system will be over. Another clue is that the second resurrection happens after the Millennium reign is over (the Millennial reign of Christ is not a second chance, but God fulfilling His promise to the true seed of Abraham) Satan and his cohorts will be released from the abyss, and the second resurrection is the resurrection of the unjust.

I don't like that, either. You have to have revelation knowledge about this. It is omninous. I believe there will be children born during the millennial reign, and they will have to make a choice between their sins or Jesus after satan is released again for a season. Satan will be loosed to tempt mankind again. I'd have to put more study into this, but it's the only thing that makes sense to me. We will all be tempted. Ask the Lord for His strength and power, because we cannot do anything without both. Never go it alone. Godspeed, saints of the Most High God. "The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just." Voddie is saying we are in the 1000 year riegn right now. It's not a literal 1000 years. It is the time from when Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead and ascended to heaven until he returns. Therefore, Satin is bound from decieving the nations any further at this time, which is why the gospel and church is growing and being proclaimed all across the earth at this very moment because jesus reigns through the believer and church . The battle will occur when Jesus returns and gathers his elect and will face satin and the army he has gathered for that just a little while period. It's not a battle though it's just done. That's why he is inching around because he knows that God's timetable is referring to Israel when Jesus steps in to save them on the last day. Jeremiah 30:7. You can't teach eschatology without Israel.

@Garybowers-h5o What are you saying? Romans 11:17-24 we gentiles have been grafted into the faith of Israel. Romans 1:16; Romans 2:9, Although Paul is the apostle to us gentiles, this Epistle appears to be speaking to Jews and Gentiles in Rome. Chapter 1 Paul appears to be reminding them of what the Children of Israel did in the wilderness after the Lord delivered them from Egypt. My point to you is that Voddie say that Israel is not relevant to God's end time prophecy, make that make sense. He's trying to be slick by simply saying God's people, he knows what he's doing. What you're failing to realize is that God still views the children of Israel as a nation His chosen people. What Paul is writing in Romans 2, Paul is rebuking them. And lastly I don't read commentaries of other mens theology to form my understanding, I agree with the Scriptures but I disagree with you and Voddie.
