It's so exciting to see how your focus as a teacher shifts more and more towards mindset and confidence. There's not enough of this in the English learning community. Psychological aspect of speaking is often overlooked, and for me it has always been the area I struggle with the most. To this day my knees are shaking and my stomach is gurgling whenever I have to speak up, be it in my first language or in English. So happy to have found your channel!

Thank you for this. I’m sorry to hear that this is your experience, but you’re not alone. So many people experience just that, sadly. I think that shift (and thanks for addressing it) was a result of seeing the impact this work had on my students and realizing that it had to be explored more and more…

I think it largely depends on the speaker's language mastery as well as the knowlege on issues to be discussed at the moment of assuming the communication process.

Thanks so much for this kind words. It sounded like to me, it is not your fault, you’re trying hard enough. Not instructing rather so much like comforting. I replay myself what I said to my neighbors, did i say how’s it going, how are you doing, Was I rude or is that why she/ he made that face, all kinds of things. And it always ends up with my English speaking. I’ll check out your offer. Thanks again!

I experienced the before-during-after phenomenon this evening. :( That's what made me visit your channel and look for the right video. As I type this out, it's past midnight and yes, I'm still worried about the conversation I screwed up earlier today. lol. So, those who feel the same way often, please know that you aren't alone. 😉

Hi Hadar! Thank you so much for the video, just before watching it I had a huge breakdown and just burst into tears in front of my English teacher because I was so overwhelmed and couldn't help my emotions, because the pressure and struggle "hey, sound more advanced, be fluent, fast and of course speak with no mistakes, be hilarious, vivacious and friendly - you name it...I just can't... Sometimes it seems like everything's impaired in my speaking, everything went wrong, I can't speak again, regardless of my actual level and knowledge. Thank you again for your videos, they make me feel that I'm not alone, and I can deal with my daily struggles again🥲😅 P.S. It wasn't my teacher who was making me feel insecure, it's me who's downright insecure and overthink everything.

Absolutely. Just replace “English” with any other language you’re learning. The content in the training has nothing to do with English itself but with how we operate, think, and behave when speaking a foreign language🙌

You should make another video about the native teachers' videos. In order to promote their channel they point out other KZbinrs' mistakes and shame them. The funny thing is they didn't even look up in a dictionary before criticizing others. Take a look at their recent videos. Somebody must stop them. Their motives are so evil.
