I think a lot of adults are into this show because it heals your inner child. Some people didnt get to have a childhood as wholesome as depicted in the show. It’s also very educational to both kids and parents and how it doesn’t talk down to kids. It shows what good parenting is and how to improve because people also make mistakes and have flaws, just like the parents do too. But they talk to their kids and take responsibility and apologize if they hurt their kids in any way. And for those who struggle being first parents and when life seems tough and scary, You’re okay. for an example of an emotional episode, there’s one called cricket that i ALWAYS end up weeping to. So there’s these group of kids and 3 dads. They’re playing backyard cricket, and trying to get this one kid (rusty) out. They try everything, pace, spin etc. but rusty always manages to hit it, because he loves cricket, and plays it everywhere he goes. At one flashback (this is what made me cry), it’s showing rusty’s mum reading a letter that his dad wrote for him and his two siblings in the army. In this letter, his dad talks about how much he misses them, then he writes a special part for rusty about this kid that rusty played cricket with. Rusty defeats every dad, and at the very last bowl, he hits it to his little sister. He could’ve hit it half way across the park. But he hit it to his sister. The end of the episode shows rusty walking off of a cricket stadium pitch, and he swaps with his future self that plays for australia. Anyways, i’m bad at explaining, but it’s a really emotional episode that i think everyone needs to see!!

Yes, a lot of it is about Bluey and Bingo learning some lesson, but it's also done with a lot of humour, heart, and responsive parenting that makes adults who didn't have that growing up (or in my case, only had one of my parents responsive parent) feel very happy and emotional. oooo, this short read like “tell me you have minimal emotional intelligence without telling me” and i feel like that may be a harsh take for the only video i’ve seen from this channel… a LOT of the bluey episodes have conversations that go over younger kids’ heads. there’s discussions about infertility, miscarriage, love and loss, conflict resolution, healthy communication, and so many other things that parents absorb while their children are watching it. my friends’ kids love bluey, and i’ve found myself moved by an episode or two. it’s about looking past the fact it’s a kids’ cartoon and seeing the bigger picture 🤷♀️

Okay as an Australian it’s actually crazy wholesome if you watch Bluey when your mind is more matured, because you realize most things that you used to pass as beautiful random moments all start to make sense to you, there was this episode in season 3 where there’s a Pegasus flying away at the end (in my opinion I think it signifies a certain person dying) and it’s very wholesome and made me cry

This dude is either in denial, had a perfect childhood or has never watched bluey. It’s the childhood every child deserves and speaks to not only childless adults but parents as well. Bluey is just a show on a whole other level that we haven’t seen yet in it’s emotional maturity and ability to explain difficult life situations in ways both children and adults can understand and learn from. The fact that there are people out there sexualising it and making it creepy or weird is just so nasty. I hate humanity so bad sometimes

I don't watch Bluey but why do we feel the need to shame people for what they watch? I watch stuff to escape reality for a bit. Not watch other people suffer through it like those bloody reality TV shows or whatever they are. It's a cute show with a lot of hidden meanings and deep messages that are made for adults. Just let people watch what they want Also, I've never really seen any toxicity from the fandom.
