After what our Navy pilots have experienced as chronicled on 60 Minutes lady June, (2021), I imagine it would be hard for them not to take the idea that aliens could be visiting seriously. I'm an amateur astronomer, and I've gotten to the bottom of a few sightings of my own, but in 2013 I had one of my own, and to keep it short, I got the impression that it was intended to be seen. If even a handful of UFOs are in fact alien hardware, then it's fair to say they are interested in us. Perhaps to guide us, to help us assimilate into a larger community. I don't think the UFO "phenomenon is a phenomenon at all. I don't believe alien visitation, (if true) is any more paranormal than Hernando Cortez landing in Mexico, or Columbus in the Bahamas. Such visitation, if true, is nothing more than the natural progression of life.

UFO shouldn't be synonymous with aliens as it has nothing to do with aliens. This term is outdated and flawed as UAP is the more accurate term. "Flying" implies intelligence and "object" implies something solid. Identifying the unidentifiable is the problem here and we just don't know. Not once in all of human history has an unidentified phenomenon been associated with aliens once identified. It's terribly dishonest how these networks and individuals associated with these networks manipulate for views.

I'll never understand why reporters and content creators put such an emphasis on the $22 million that was spent on AATIP. It's like our jaws are supposed to drop when hearing it. The 2022 DoD budget for the year was $778 billion. They gave a couple of guys the change they found under the couch. That's all. Would be nice if the price tag would be mentioned less from the perspective of everyday people and more from the point of view of the one's who spent it, the United States government.

There's actually a lot of misinformation on AATIP - the 22$ million was supplied by the Pentagon and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) for initial research conducted by Bigelow Aerospace at the Skin-Walker ranch in Utah - not AATIP (Basically, the 22$ million was the start up money and received additional unknown funds supplied by the DIA later on). AATIP probably received Special Access Program funding (which is generally a lot of money, with little accountability). There's a great UFO/UAP podcast called: Somewhere in the Skies that interviewed the former heads of AATIP where they explained this. Check it out!

What if these beings are humans from the future. What if these future humans have found a way to “tap” into our timeline to study their past. My theory is that they are not physically here, but rather show up momentarily in our physical plane due to the technology they use to “review” the historical time point which they want to study. This explains why their vessels are not bound by physical limitations and can cross different mediums. They may have ways to “interact” remotely with our physical world but they are not actually here.

I like that you consulted both those immersed in the UFO subculture, and someone with the expertise to think about the UFO role in the American mythos, and that you researched government activity and reports. However, there is a voice noticeably absent from this video, which is a voice that is needed to temper the way that the other sorts of commentary might be interpreted: it would be nice to hear from professional physicists and astronomers. They do have relevant expertise that the average person does not possess.

Think about it this way - the people who are looking at the sky the MOST, far more than anyone else, account for very few (less than 3%) of all UAP. Why do you think that is? Is it because they "spend the majority of time laughing" or is it because they actually know what they're looking at if they see things in the sky?

In July 1968 my wife and I were returning to my sisters house in rural N/W Indiana. We’d had dinner with my nephew and his wife in the city. I’d just finished a 4 year enlistment in the Navy as a Jet Engine mechanic. My father had passed away 2 years earlier. We’d come to Indiana so my mother, sisters, and family could see our 2 year old son that they’d never seen before. As I noted I was in Naval aviation and worked around numerous types of aircraft during both day and night operations. I was trained to identify aircraft during night operations. It was around midnight, there were no lights anywhere, and therefore very dark. My wife saw it first. It was a round saucer shaped object that was sitting in an open field about a hundred yards from us. Multicolored lights appeared to be rotating around it’s edge. It suddenly lifted off and hovered for moment or so at tree top level, then it accelerated straight up and out of sight in a matter of seconds. I’m unaware of any such technology that existed at that time. I worked on the most advanced active duty Jet fighters the Navy had during my enlistment and never encountered anything like what we saw. I’ve been a UFO enthusiast since then. We know what we saw, it was real, and nothing like that, as far as I know, existed on planet Earth at that time. The evidence for extraterrestrial space craft and alien life is substantial for those that look for it, so much so that the government apparently has come to the conclusion that denying aliens and advanced alien technology don’t exists is pointless.

C'mon man! Arnold didn't see "saucer-like discs". He reported seeing crescent-shaped objects moving "like saucers skipping over water." The initial reporter misquoted him-possibly because the term "flying saucer" was first used to describe a UAP sighting by a witness in a newspaper interview in the late 19th century. You should watch Dr. Z's episode of Monstrum you appeared on!

It is still heavily debated what Arnold said in his initial reports. Some believe he was misquoted, others believe he changed his description after military intelligence officers expressed doubt in his description. One report even has them described as circular with one lead vehicle being crescent shaped.

There is something that has bothered me for 50 years, and that is Kenneth Arnolds drawings were not of discs but of flying wings, or boomerang like objects. He described them like plates or stones skimming over water, which in turn coined the flying saucer name by an imaginative journo. It was'nt until some time later that they morphed into flying discs. The Pentagon didn't release those videos wittingly. They were not classified, so disgruntled insider Lou Elizondo, former head of AATIP, handed them over and briefed the New York times. The only issue I have with this reporting, is that all records indicate project Mogul, which is the program the Air Force claimed the top secret high altitude balloons were from, didn't happen until 1953. That's 6 years after Roswell. On top of that, there were reportedly bodies at the scene which the Air Force claimed were test dummies dropped from the balloon. There are two problems with that one) those dummies banging and clanking around would most likely completely destroy their listening experiment for Soviet nuclear blasts and also makes zero sense. Two) the crash dummies and experiments with those crash dummies referenced didn't happen until 10 years after Roswell occurred. None of the timelines match up and there is copious documentation to support this. I don't know what Roswell was, but it wasn't that.

My wife and I saw a cube floating above an intersection near Charlotte NC, black made of tiles, it looked to be the size of a school bus cubed. The cube was stationary in the sky about 50-75 yards from our position. No sound, broad daylight around 8:30 am. This was seen by more than 30 people.
