Ditto….cleanliness is Godliness, and cleanliness is happiness. Plus, you are safer from the devil.

Yeah. I even sped up the video. Speeding up those 60+ minute "come follow me" videos. Most of them still sound totally normal at 1.5 speed.

So glad you enjoyed it, friend! Come back every week for a new Follow Him Favorites that will answer a question from the Come, Follow Me manual.

How does someone trust in leadership, and ultimately God, when they’ve been treated very traumatically in a repentance situation? I know they’re not perfect but we’ve been so conditioned to never question them. Especially at the youth level it can be a lifelong struggle to trust again. It’s such a sensitive and vulnerable time and yes it seems like today there has been much more of an effort to be understanding but for someone who grew up on the Pres Kimball, Benson era it was a MUCH different time. More hellfire damnation then and much more teddy bear Jesus today. Very confusing messaging. Plus to see a leader over the pulpit vs behind closed doors and how their persona completely contradicts their words is very traumatic….. and I’m talking about leadership at the 70 level. I’m not trying to be combative but it’s a real thing and seems to be something that’s swept under the rug.
