This is a vintage pair from the early 2000s so I think the yellow has turned from age. Thanks for watching!

Noticed those are made in USA as opposed to made in UK what year did those made in USA drop ?

I am not exactly sure when these released. I picked these up second hand off eBay not too long ago, but I would probably say about 2005 or so. I know Kith recently released a “made in USA” pair in 2018. That one actually says “991” on the heel as opposed to country of origin though. Hope this helped! Thanks for the comment. Cheers!

@@tripplerich I just bought a ds pair on eBay a few days ago for 130, I didn’t know what year it was made so hopefully they’re still wearable , I’m thinking it’s around 2014-2015 due to the box tho

I’d say there are high quality dad shoes and crap dad shoes. I’d be okay being called a cool dad lol. Although, I’m also annoyed when some people lump everything with a retro runner aesthetic into “dad shoe” because they’re exclusively fed their information from Instagram/Pinterest and Tik Tok.

Haha! Okay yeah I can meet you at “cool dad” for sure! But I also agree with you on the “everything lumped into a dad shoe” box. I think you have unlocked what I actually don’t like about that phrase. Its so general and accomplishes nothing. Technically isnt anything a dad shoe if atleast one “dad” in the history of dads has worn them? Appreciate your comment! 😅
