Because of trade deficit exporters will be selling Rs to buy dollars.. which means more supply of INR, which should mean devaluation of Rs, which should mean central bank has to spend more INR to buy dollars.. and with the same logic, shouldn't it lead to further devaluation of INR ?

Dollar is still the King despite US threatening sanction and fear of de-dollarisation. There is no viable alternative emerging.

Gold price has been rising with the dollar rising. Dollar strength rose due GNP correlated with debt US policymakers and lobbyists has toggled and influencer with Military Complex War machine and bigger government to process in intake illegal immigrants criss and the welfare program they take while American Citizens Consumers increase consumers debt trying to survive. Not real strength of dollar.
