Why is this Ford 427 Cobra JUST RIGHT? - Raiti's Rides

When looking at a replica 427 Ford Cobra there are so many personal touches an owner can make to be unique. This 427 Cobra is one of my favorites that I have seen. I really like the addition of some 21st century things like the wheels and brake setup. Check out why this is a perfect Cobra!

I heard rumors that the new F150 Raptor will have the 7L 427 cubic inch V8. If Ford and Shelby decides to make another AC Cobra. We might see a modern take on the Cobra. 7L V8 Supercharged on a light weight fibreglass body = one wild cobra!

Lin Chester I’m not so sure about those rumors. It seems everything in the Ford stable seems to be going ecoboost. A new take on the Ford Cobra would be amazing. I remember when the Dodge Viper first came out and was coined the “new cobra.” Can’t go wrong with 10 cylinders 😊👍🏻

Raiti's Rides the issue with the Viper imo is that engine is way too big and lacked the modern 4 valves overhead cams. While the last gen Viper had traction control. It lacked many safety features and was too expensive to produce. If Dodge updated the whole car and borrow the engine from the Audi/Lambo V10 and give it force induction. Cut back on the excessive use of carbon fibre for cost, use traction control, ESP, ABS and it might be a Super car killer car.

Lin Chester maybe you just leaked info for the next Gen Viper. I totally visualized that in my head. I’ll admit going back to the late 90’s and seeing the Dodge & Chrysler Vipers racing at tracks around the world was unbelievable. The sound of those V10s coming off the banking at Daytona at fill song was intoxicating! Hell I remember in 2000 when the Viper won the overall Rolex Daytona 24HR!

Raiti's Rides as a kid i grew up watching the tv action drama called Viper. I kinda have an affection for the looks and that side port exhaust.
