My step- mother was an out transexual. I loved Susan Tucker deeply. She died in the 1990s and under her former name Robert Tucker she was one of the foremost nautical architects in the world. She designed yachts for every ocean in the world. She was amazingly talented. Her company Robert Tucker Designs is still operating. She was disowned by her own children. But to me as a young gay man ( Jack in the UK who was a teenager and struggling with homophobia in the late 80s) , she was a mentor a second mother and a wonderful human being, as well as being my dad's longest relationship, out of his 3 marriages. She'd had her operation in Casablanca and maybe she didn't pass as well as modern transexual women, but she was lovingly accepted by her local community. She was dignified, confident and never "paraded" her transexuality. She was simply Susan. A step-mother I was proud to have as my second mum. Buck, in many was you remind me of her - just the male version. You're a gorgeous, dignified man. If I weren't the same age as you, I'd love to have you as a grandpa. You're an inspiration.😮

What it does show is that they're a major differences between many of the recent crop. Anyone who transitioned in the last 10 years or so. Are very very different potentialy to those before. It was unheard of Anyone born male not having bottom surgery. It was seen by doctors in the field of a measure of intensity/commitment and gatekeeping. Anyone wether straight or homosexual who doesn't now. We have to consider. What are their motivations. Blanchard and others refered to them as " Gender identity Disorder, non transsexual ". In 2024 we have a few influences now who use the medical term transsexual. Who don't actually fit it. Both male and female born. Women especially need to know who their dealing with. No woman has a penis. There are many definitions of Gender Ideology. The safest non ideological view that comes to mind. When you see how things have apparently changed is. Anyone who believes a woman can have a penis or a man can have a baby.

@@honberg193 Exactly right. I think a lot of transexuals are AGP and know it (but aren't pushy or disrespectful towards women) and some are in denial. However, I do believe that everyone should be able to live the way they choose and have every human and constitutional right...as long as it doesn't harm others. Unfortunately, with new laws and policies being passed, it DOES affect society, specifically women and children. The reason why we need to prioritize the safety of women and children is because not only are women the child bearers but women and children are physically weaker that men. Even the men that take extra hormones and have their genitals mutilated.

Me too! Look I love folks like Buck and Blaire and others for being their authentic selves! The entire point of transitioning is for it NOT to be obvious what their birth gender was. They want to fit in not stand out! Now I am a disabled woman and recently suffered an amputation. I need help in the restroom but my fiancé and I use the “family” restroom. But if there isn’t one available I would be terrified if I went into a restroom and was confronted by a 6’ft tall dude with full beard and chest hair in a dress my first thought wouldn’t be to be polite I would be terrified! I am the most vulnerable person in almost any room! Ppl need to understand the difference between a transsexual person and a cross dresser!!!

I agree! I’ve noticed watching, over the past 1-1.5 years, that Buck had a lot of therapy before deciding to transition. He cleared out the closet of issues first, and internalized what the therapy sessions were teaching him about himself. Once the closet was cleaned out the therapy for his dysphoria began. By this time he was based and understood himself more than say 90% of the rest of us. He worked hard over the years to know himself, understand reality, and how to process his thoughts. He will always suffer the human condition, as we all do. He’s very well equipped mentally to handle our shared condition. Buck often, without realizing, is sharing how to handle life. Regardless of whatever issues one may be experiencing. It’s sharing what he learned from his therapist(s) that makes what he shares so important. I enjoyed my rant, and I hope you do as well. ✌️

I am 52 years old, was alcohol dependant for a while and have now been dry now for 12 years. For the last 12 years or so I've had dysphoria to a greater or lesser degree, something I had intended to take to the grave. My wife recently found me on a transgender forum and thought I was cheating on her, so to save my marriage I had to tell her and she accepted me, which was a very generous and beautiful thing. She has agreed to keep it between us for the sake of our adult son, who see's me as the perfect man and father, I could not take that from him and for my mum who sees me as the perfect son. I am going to consult the medical professionals in the UK but only for therapy, for the sake of my mental health, something my wife thinks would be a good idea, I know, I'm very lucky, she even said she would be ok if I transitioned. I will never transition as I know it would deeply effect my son. He didn't ask to come into my life and as such his needs come first. Great content Buck, as always, thank you.

What's frustrating is even in some Intersex communities, they are saying there is no difference being born male, and being assigned male at birth. Yes, to an outsider it would seem to be largely a dance of semantics; Not every intersex person has the lived experience, wisdom or belongs to a social/support group comprised of other intersex people. Offering acceptance, belonging without needing 'the qualifications', and welcome to intersex people is a large part of the modern intersex community's ethos -- I think that is BIG and BOLD for a group comprised of people who have lived being shunned for stigmatised bodies, had to live in hiding and who have the ingrained safety sense to reject anyone who doesn't get it. My mother, may G_D rest her soul, taught my brothers and nephews (I had no sisters), how to bathe, change the diaper, and dress a baby. She told them that women expect their husband to be an equal helper in the house.

I only agree with abortion for real life risk, rape, incest(against late term abortion)Using abortion as birth control is disgusting to me. I had an ex sister in law who would get pregnant and if my brother would not give her what she wanted (ex..a new car,new house, jewelry.) she would get an abortion..she had at least 3 that I know of.
