Can somebody help me please. I'm the pastor of a church in the UK. People are asking me what purpose Israel has in God's plans since Jesus (Yeshua) has died and rose again? A couple of guys say that the church is the new spiritual Israel. He constantly quotes early church fathers and patristic fathers and scholars who don't believe that Israel is relevant anymore. How can I fight this? I love Israel and believe that all Israel will be saved. But this guy is so much more articulate and intelligent than me and always seems to have a reasonable sounding rebuttal. My concern us that he may be influencing others

Zechariah chapter 14 states why we MUST begin to obey our Father YHWH's Times and Seasons and Laws - the corrupt Babylon system has destroyed nearly all vestiges of these in this last generation especially which will see the return of our Messiah Yahshua. (For instance, Yahshua was born on Day 1 of Feast of Sukkot, of Tabernacles, in a booth built by his earthly father Joseph as commanded by YHWH - booth also is "manger" and "sukkah" -- and He Yahshua was circumcised on Day 8 of this same Feast. This is why Babylon's (Rome's) Saturnalia Feast mocks this Feast of Sukkot and Babylon's Day 1 and Day 8 (December 25 and January 1, which are commanded by Rome to be "holi-days") also mocks YHWH's Times and Laws and His Sabbaths - Lamentations 1:7.) Also read Jeremiah chapter 30. Revelation chapter 19. Romans 9,10,11 warn of those who attempt to supplant the Branch and the natural branches with their artificial branches, as we who believe in Yahshua as genuine branches of this Vine are now grafted into Him, Yahshua, Who is of Judah. "Babylon is fallen, is fallen" - this 2nd time that Babylon falls as the golden head of the statue means that she will NEVER rise again. Only Yahshua has risen to live forevermore, Who follows only what His Father states, for He is "YHWH Is Salvation." All other than Him is solely vanity (insecurity and emptiness).

Jesus said that Israel must welcome him back. There must be a temple built in the future, and the Levitical priesthood established. Jesus will rule from Israel, from Jerusalem, in the millennial reign. There's plenty to happen with Israel in the future. Regarding people that say that Israel has been replaced, show them Jeremiah 31 and 33. There's a lot in there against Replacement Theology. God bless.
