The g1 Metroplex slander in this video is crazzzyyyy 😭😭😭 (Its deserved Metroplex has always been a goofy looking character with a stupid alt mode no matter what). Though this Metroplex looks way goofier, more like a Metroplex who fallen and cant get up...or I suppose, for some reason stopped halfway when trying to get up and decided to hit the babygirl pose LOL. I lowkey wanted this figure during TFSource's 100USD Black Friday sale, because ooo the AXE. But me not really being familiar with the character (even at threat of death I could not tell Energon Armada Cybertron apart), as well as not wanting to fork over 100 USD, won in the day. Though I wouldnt mind him ahaha.

G1 Metroplex hit my dog while leaving my driveway and didn’t even apologize so me and him got major beef. But aside from that I don’t hate him lol (I like that rando RID repaint more tho). (And same lol, until making this vid I didn’t really know who he was shhhh don’t tell John Hasbro). P.S. I love your art, it’s so cute.

I didnt know who Cybertron Metroplex was until this figure was announced and ppl showed me and I was like who.... oh ew ew e w ugly ugly. Now I like him in an ugly cute but "not my Metroplex" way (Metroplex is literally my fav transformer ever. Shh dont tell the toy collector people I claim that but also dont fork thousands to get all the Metroplex ever) PS thanks !! I say for the second timmeee LOL

Glad you like him. I myself am a huge fan of Cybertron/Galaxy Force, but I have no real desire to pick him up. I just don't have the room for a titan class figure and Metroplex wasn't my favorite design from the show.

No thats real, I should’ve mentioned this more in the vid but I got this guy a year and a half ago and then he sat in my attic until I opened him recently. I didn’t have space for him for so long lol

Nifty video, but I think you answered your own question: Two hundred bucks, and no Minicon, planet key, or any other gimmicks from the original besides the transformations. We don't get electronics or firing missiles or automorphing or vac-metal or anything in the main line any more, so even the Deluxe class figures don't really seem like enough value for the money, let alone the Titan Class ones. If they'd included his Minicon, made his digger arm a bit bigger and better articulated, and thrown in the ability for it to split apart into an axe, I would've considered getting this guy. But four times the original cost, and only the transformation gimmick is carried over? Pass. BTW, British people still use a fair few Imperial measurements, notably miles, pints, stones, and feet.

Yeah I feel the only size class where you consistently get your bang for your buck is Commander (there’s not a bad figure there), but yeah deluxe has suffered the most. Looks like Titan class is moving in a new direction, and that new Star Convoy looks a lot more playable than this guy. I think Hasbro has learned a lesson from how many of this guy went on sale 🫠. Also thank you 🤣, I’m an American but i’m not that stupid I know the metric system. Sorry about the Dr. Who joke 😂😂

so, it's not advertised but he has panels in his legs that come out and are compatible with the "airlock" system, so you can link up with other toys of the siege era mostly, like omega supreme and make ramps and crap. bit of play value there. also, he was not 200 at release which personally really helped in the choice of getting him haha. besides that hes kinda just a cool display piece, that's what titans are mostly

I've watched a few random smatterings of 10 or 15 seconds at a time of the show, maybe the opening once or twice, that's about the extent of it. I have watched several episodes of Armada, trying my absolute best to give it a real chance, and get into it, but I failed. I just can't get into over dubbed shows, they just stretch my "suspend disbelief" muscles too far. I like Beast Wars, Cyberverse, Prime, and the newer RID, plus to a certain extent G1, and I'm 48yo, and saw the 86 movie in theaters, so it's bold for me to now have that opinioin of G1, but I gotta be real with myself, it kinda sucks now lol

It's weird how I definitely know the opening by heart and I've never seen the show lol. I'll remember "OUR WORLDS ARE IN DANGER!" till the day I die. I love beast wars! Never liked Prime or new RID, and though G1 is really silly I still love it. Sometimes I'll put it on the tv so I can fall asleep to it.

I love the figure, but I can see why he was slept on. The alt mode sucks and there isn’t enough there to justify the price. I think the only reason they did it was to generate hype off the name because the chances of a proper G1 Metroplex in New-Generations format is slim to none. They are already downsizing the Titan Class

he is a gigantic dude with loads of articulation with a better alt mode then metroplex and fortress maximus. he goes for under 100 dollars last i got him from amazon and that's well worth it.
