I think this depends on many things. First and most, they have to be frank about themselves and really seeking out for the truth. Then, it is just a matter of time to accept Islam. As it is said by Allah in the quran it is up to them to decide and whenever they do that Allah opens their hearts and ears and guides them towards himself. I think it is also important for us to have a life that aligns with taqwa rhen when we call people to Islam they will also judge the religion based on our life and decide based upon this.
