Why isn't anyone talking about Crimea in EU4?

Today, laith in EU4 takes on the challenge of EU4 Crimea, attempting to form the EU4 Mongol Horde. The only way to do that is to form the Golden Horde. This is easy with the right EU4 guide... and a whole bunch of cavalry. Watch as we take on EU4 Muscovy as well as the other hordes, attempting to claim hegemony over the steppes.

I have no idea why (idk if the province produces salt) but Crimea is by far the hardest province to siege except maybe the swiss. I swear to god whenever I get into a siege race involving crimea i always lose(unless im defending of course). Even when my approximate siege speed is higher than my foes. I'm telling you the province of crimea is cursed and nobody can convince me otherwise.

Why can't you form Cumania as Crimea? It existed only, what, 200 or so years before? And the golden horde at this point still speaks the Cuman-Kipchac language as it's lingua franka, and the Crimean tatars are basically still cuman, in culture and blood. So, why not?

this seems like a good place and time to point out to any and all who havent tried this yet, that Oirat into Yuan into Mongol Empire is great fun if you play as little Yuan as possible, but take Aristocratic ideas in the short period in which you do (and horde of course but that's not hard). Your Cavalry smashes everything (I mean it does either way but still) and it makes cav really cheap as well.
