My book just became live but when I try to go to it from my kdp account it says the page isn't available on Amazon. This is so for all the amazon website.

This is beyond dumb. This would be like if you walked into a store, asked for a book by name, they do a search on the computer, don't see it, and then tell you that they don't have it. Meanwhile, the book is sitting on the shelf not 3 feet away. Why even allow the book to be published in the first place if they're going to do this?

I usually publish about 10-20 in a "batch" of similar books. I'll usually swap out either the title or the subtitle, but I ensure that no book has the same title and subtitle.

I've created a sketch book and uploaded it on my Amazon Kindle account. When I click on this book in my bookshelf it opens on website page with someone else's account with author name same as mine. How is that possible? How it can be associated with some other author? What should I do?

Hi, I have three books for sale on Amazon now. But I can't find my first book, 'A Moth In The Darknes'. It ISN'T low content. I first (independently) published it back in 2005 but wasn't able to get it on a larger platform until 2023. And, unfortunately, Amazon won't let me change my (second edition) book's title. Perhaps, I'll ask someone else? My two children's books, on the other hand, pop right up after I type in my name on the search bar. On a side note: Would you know how to temporarily discount the price on my books? I asked a KDP representative and he said I COULDN'T do sale prices but would need to manually discount the price and then publish it again. But just today I visited Amazon and noticed other sellers with paperback books WERE able to discount (sale price) their own books. So now, I am confused. 😕 Thanks for your time and help. 😃

Thanks, I never find my books in search either. Keyword question pls - I watched keyword mistakes video. Do you suggest to use only one long tail keyword phrases per kw slot? If some space left, can I still add some one word keywords too?

Hey Rachel, I am from India and today I published my first notebook on KDP but after clicking on publish my book it again comes under draft when I E-Mail KDP about this issue they have replied me this: During our review, we found the contributor(s) listed for the following book(s) may confuse our customers. Contributors are the people involved in creating your book, including authors, editors, illustrators, translators, and any others who assisted with your book’s creation. And I haven't put any copyright message or claim in this as it is a notebook, is it necessary to put it.

Hi Sunil! You can choose the option to have KDP provide you with a free ISBN during the publishing process. Just keep in mind that if you choose the KDP ISBN you won't be able to sell on other platforms, if you had that in mind.

Yes, you'll upload your cover and interior files to KDP, fill out the book information, and KDP will assign you an ISBN.
