After my tragedy with Himiko in NA, Osakabehime is the reason I come back to the game daily, if she gets a buff I wouldn't be mad, but I still love that neet

The way I see them fixing Osakabehime is by giving her a massive self charge so she can NP in a farming team. They can give her like an 80% charge on her S2 while increasing the battery to 30% that would make her great for quick setups maybe slap a 20% np gain somewhere and she'd be excellent.

Honestly I don’t think focusing on her np is going to have many people bring her along on farming runs. People barely want to use Castoria’s NP for farming (and she’s great) because they don’t want to waste the time it takes for the NP animation so imagine Osakabe trying to compete for that. She’s meant to be a stall servant so I think they should optimize her for that (if all your supports are casters then rider bosses are a hard counter so it’d help to have class variety). I saw someone else post that a buff to her S2 making it a 30% battery with a crit absorb would really help and I completely agree. And though I also think she would benefit from more team utility, I can’t say I have any other ideas as to what they could give her. I don’t have her and as funny of a character as I think she is with her weeb-English, I can’t see myself rolling for her. But she’s definitely a welcome spook (unlike np4 Napoleon…)

+1 She really, really needs NP gain per turn. Something targetable or just for her. Her NP is where it's at for long fights. But she needs to be like the Assassin version of Waver or Merlin when it comes to giving allies NP gauge.

I have her grailed, but yeah she really needs to have her second skill add a 10-20% np gauge per turn (3 turns) considering she can’t passively generate stars with next to no np too. 2030 is definitely one of her best choices for ce’s, so being able to gen np in a couple of turns instead of a few in some manner would really help out.

Np per turn, buffing the battery, star bomb, quick/buster res down on her third skill... there's a lot that can be done to her kit that would really enable her ability to make the team pop off. She just needs that one little push somewhere to make her reach her potential as a top tier or at least secondary support alongside all the other big name brand support servants out there

I find the Okki-Himiko combo amazing. Have used it in some of my runs. Chaining her NP with Himiko's while she has Bodhisattva can give party wide 50 buster and 50 quick (OC5). Also her buff removal with tha fat 40% def down is great to have. And she's very cute and deserving more love!

Osaka is unfortunately a clumsy build. First of all, she's built as a sustain support, not a burst support. This immediately is a bit of an issue as burst has massively taken over for top tier supports. You want to end battles in 3 turns, maybe 4, not 20. This is actually the primary reason Merlin is fading hard is he too is a sustain support, not a burst support, but he can do some burst support which brings us to the next problem. Osaka burst support is also lacking. 20% NP for 1 person is laughable awful for pure 5 star support. This is the kind of battery you expect on a mixed dps, not a pure support. Hell, many 4 star supports out perform her here (Helena for instances gives 20% to the whole party). Her type boosts are locked onto her overcharge and starting at 30% they are also lacking. She does have that party wide critical buff, but since it's pair (the buster buff) isn't nearly as accessible, it isn't all that great. And finally that def down is single target, single turn. So this all really means she outright sucks as a burst support. You're better off deploying many 4 stars over here to cover this roll. But, hey, she's sustain, so she's good there right? Well... Here's the problem with that, once again you have that lousy battery meaning she doesn't really get her team rolling NPs. Even her own NP gen is not strong enough to get her NPs out consistently in party. Add to this she features no hard defense, and with only a measly 20% def for her party, she can't get them through a NP. But hey, Tamamo can't either, right? Well, Tamamo can roll NPs, and she can stall an opposing NP with her drain. In fact, in the right team, you can stall out an opposing NP indefinitely. Osaka just doesn't have any answer for this. So even her sustain game is lacking. Adding to her troubles is oddly the fact she is a good soloer, not great, but good. This complicates any fix they think about giving her as it is very easy to turn her into an OP soloer as she's a rather oddball in that she solos via 100% def. Things like giving her a hard def would take away much of her limitation when it comes to soloing. I still end up using Osaka a reasonable amount for a lacking support as she an assassin, and when you're up against riders, pretty much all the meta supports get wrecked fast as they're casters. I think the key to cleaning up her kit is giving her more party effect and NP. Make that NP battery party wide at the very least. It is super under powered at single target. An NP gain buff would be nice too and wouldn't break her soloing as she generally already hits the NP every round point. Maybe also make that def down last longer so she can help a bit more with both burst and sustain damage output. I don't think they'll ever make her top tier as she is a sustain support and very poorly built to convert to burst even if they wanted to, but they can probably fix up her sustain game without too many fixes.

I own a level 120 Assassin Ushi and she's my main assasin damage dealer for rider nodes (she can generate huge amount of stars alone, i also equipped her with critical damage CE and CC's). I have both Skadi and Osakabehime and almost always use Osakabehime. Why? Okki is assassin and Skadi is caster. The only thing Skadi can do is buff my assassins. Okki can not only buff my assassins but she's an assassin herself so she can actually deal damage and survive longer

Great respects to you for raising your Assassin Ushi all the way to Level 120. I was considering on raising mine to at least Level 90, but at the same time, I might end up summoning my target characters (MHXX and Ruler Martha), so I'm saving my grails for them too. Also, I'll be holding off pulling for Osakabehime until the next free 5-star ticket for next year. I'll be getting her just to complete my meme team (Tomoe, Osakabehime, Jinako).

I think both are fine. That's what Charlotte Corday does: 30% for self, 30% for one ally, but can be combined on herself. So just give Osakabe a teamwide 20% in addition to her targetable one.

The reason people don't use Okkie... Probably because her biggest chunk of utility is locked behind her NP, which means you need a KScope - MLB or +Append, unless you're using her targetable battery on her instead of on your DPS - to get the most out of her, which means you cannot run full Event Bonus lineups.

I think the fix here is easy: add a selfish battery on her targetable battery skill and increase the party def buff on her NP. Her S3 is mostly for the buff removal. Her S1 is fine.

Because she's the prototype to Skadi, made to be a balanced support to the Quick Card type in an attempt not to create another Merlin tier Servant. She flopped _hard_ in that roll, and so their hand was forced to make Skadi to make bank, and the fate of FGO was forever changed. As it stands Okkie is alright as a Soloist Servant or a niche option for Buster/Quick teams, but she'll never be a mainstay due to her most useful supportive powers tied to her NP (thereby taking TIME and effort or CEs to access and use) . She's not horrible by any stretch of the imagination, especially for developing accounts in need of supports with charge and durability in mind, but she's easily second or third rate compared to the big Meta Supports and will remain that way unless Lasagna feels like buffing the hell out of her Skills to bring her in line with Meta Power for some reason.

The problem with Osakabehime is that so much of her value is in her NP, but you need to rely on her cards for NP gen if you want her to NP more than once. And as she'll be supporting Quick or Buster Servants, there will not be many Arts chains for her to piggy back off. So you'll be putting her Quick and Arts cards into the chains trying to get her NP gauge refilled at the expense of the actual damage being dealt by the DPS, which defeats the purpose. This is why, IMO, she's just not a good Support for longer battles, she'll be most effective as a Solo or a swap in/out Support to fire off her skills & NP just once. Give her S3 a 50% *self-charge* in addition to the targetted effects, and then we'll be talking!

Give her a 30% party battery. Her problem and Skadi's as well is that they have great NPs, but they struggle to fill their gauge. Making her 20% just a 50% targeted battery isn't going to help much for long fights when you want to get your supports NPs off.

I think the problem for her is that she's a jack of all trades and master of none and the current meta much more favors specialists. 1. She can perform as quick support with quick up and crit up and defense down. But Quick teams, as the name implies, favors fast play. Other quick supports like Skadi caster, Skadi ruler, Wu, Alexander, etc give out buffs right away and lets you go bam bam bam quickly finish fight. Osakabehime's quick buff is behind her NP, her NP charge is only 20%, and the defense up and hp up effect aren't useful for quick play. It's just harder and slower to use her as a quick support than other options. 2. She can be used in stalling type slow team with the hp/defense up buffs but her quick/crit buff are kind of wasted, she has quick NP so it's harder to arts chain, her defense down is 1 turn and not as effective for drawn out fights. Her NP refund without getting to her extra is just mediocre with the 2 hit arts card. It's just easier to use arts team like Tamamo, Castoria, Merlin, etc to slow play and stall. 3. She can be used for solo content. She's very tanky with her stacking defense buff, her NP refund is much better with the 5 hit extra and she is a potent star generator for herself. But she has a non damaging np and just face carding things down with her lower attack as assassin is generally slower than the other strong solo servants like Herc, Enkidu, Qin Shi Huang, OG Cu, Cu berserker, etc with ST NP's or stronger stacking buffs. If you have her and like her, she will do the job for you for a variety of situations if you want to make it work but if you don't like her specifically, there are a lot of better servants that are better for your specific needs.

If I don't use her, it'll probably be out of spite. I'm new to FGO and I rolled heavily on the Oberon banner. And I mean VERY heavily on the Oberon banner. Won't say I whaled cuz I didn't spend all that much to get him. But can def. say I spent at least $60 or close to it. And after over 100 pulls (probably over 150 by now), my most recent draw from it gives me this chick that I never asked for. I'm like "WHY DID I GET YOU?! THIS ISN'T EVEN YOUR BANNER!!!" Edit: Now I can see I did whale. I really wanted that character tbh.

Why isn't she used much, mostly because her kit is just clumsy. She has practically everything you'd want to a great support, but it is all built in in such a way as to not really work well in the role. She has type buffs, but they are on her NP, making the use limited and because it is overcharge dependent its percentage isn't even impressive for a 5 star. She has a targetable charge, but it is a laughably weak 20 percent (come on, even 4 star servants give out this kind of charge to the whole party!) She has a crit buff, but no quick infusions of stars. Her defense buff is okay, but nothing spectacular. It is no substitute for a hard defense and honestly not even as good as an NP drain. She can heal via her HP max boost, which is the one thing that does work well, but probably the least important part. She lastly has a def down with a buff cleanse, which is decent, but situational. And unfortunately, she's actually a pretty strong soloer. I said unfortunate because they have to balance with that in mind so anything they do to correct her kit has to be done in such a way as to not over power her soloing. This limits the options. Lastly she's a quick sustain support... not a great niche to be in general. Quick teams are generally fast and dirty, they don't want to be going long term, and vs a arts sustain, there is no contest usually, you'd go arts, and of course quick in general is the bottom of the 3 types, not having the damage cap or flexibility of the buster, nor the reliability of the arts.

because is a bad support. Skills with effects in a little percents, a joke battery and gives 0 stars in a critic support and that absorb many stars Has the quick performance in the np does a lot of problems in the practice, and the bonus is low, and it doesnt have sinergy with one character that need to spam it np. Like defensive support is better mash. Even though don't exist many quick supports, other characters that don't support quick like merlin or waver do better her job, even voyager, da vinci and helena are better quick supports xd The only good thing about her is that she can be a tank, but even with that exist hassan and kama xd. Like tank is B but like support is D, and is one of the worst ssr in the game

Nah new Summer Skadi just flat out replaces her. Oki is like the worst 5* in the game and gets out played by 4*s, honestly she should be a 4*. She is a solo unit in a game with Enki and now Himiko who both out solo her. Okki sucks.

You only ever get 1 chance to make a good 1st impression and she suffers from giving a poor 1st impression. That's her main problem. It takes a long time to undo that Widely regarded as one the most underwhelming servants at release. People who got her prior to buffs have moved on. The order she got her buffs was pretty crippling as well. Had she got her 1st skill buff 1st instead of the np buff her status would be a lot different. It was like 2 years after her np buff did DW stop and think what was actually wrong with her, by then people gave up. Even when she got buffed to her current state and was fairly ok , Koyanskaya came out. That's no contest as to who most people are going to prefer. Still a viable servant but personally think DW did her dirty by diluting her kit by adding a buster up effect to np rather than going all in on supporting quick squads especially at that time where Skadi wasn't even out yet and wouldn't be for almost another year. (It should of been a 20-30 starbomb instead)

Everytime you do a pool to chose a char to make a video people always chose the same most popular characters over and over again and more obscure servants dont get a chance to shine and be known by other people, at this point letting people chose your content is a disservice for people that seek your videos for info
