The bulbasaur line isn't actually as slow as they look. Venusaur can be seen hopping like a frog in the let's go games when following you. And Bulbasaurs gen 1 sprite has it being in midair presumably jumping. So a Venusaur could probably escape a forest fire.

Venusaur can easily outrun a forest fire. Base 80 speed is quite a LOT for a tank as it's the same speed as blaziken,gallade,gardevoir, 5 points faster than armourouge, 5 points slower than ceruledge. Don't even forget the chlorophyll ability where it's speed doubles to 160 even outspeeding electrode and 3 out of 4 forms of deoxys making ridiculous speeds. Venusaur is faster than what people give credit for especially for a bulky tank.

that thing is not slow, just think of a triceratops, venu-saur (dino-saur) that thing can run fairly fast prob up to 20-40 miles/h, it does not even weight as much as it appear like 180-250 pounds, so it's definitely way more agile than it looks
