I think traveling with old parents isn't a problem in Japan because many senior citizens are there in Japan and things are mostly accessible for them like trains and buses, best time would be (March to May) because Japan is famous for it's spring season and you'll be able to see Sakura but it'd be most crowded as well so you've to take care of your parents

1. Japan is safe for everyone, and if they notice you are Indian, they will give you the most respect. 2. Traveling with family isn't a problem in Japan. There are metro available everywhere. Although it may be tough to walk if your parents are too old 3. Not in winter's obviously. You should visit Japan in April. 4. I didn't faced any difficulty except the communication barrier, but then I was prepared. I already had an offline Japanese translator app on my phone.

You can buy a warm jacket for under 100$, even 50$ in Tokyo online or from the shop. In Japan, you can buy online and delivered the same day. I bought from japan maybe 100 times or more from Canada and by DHL or EMS japan post within 3-4 days and in Japan many private companies deliver jackets like stuff for 300-400Yens only. You will not find any country that is so cheap. asked the Irani girl to help you buy the jacket from a local shop. she knows where to buy it. why you are suffering from a cold like a fool. It happens with most Indians coming to cold countries with dhuti, salwar kamij or shari with T-shart. I saw you spent thousands of dollars, but can't buy a winter Jacket. when you come to cold countries in the winter, bring also or buy winter shoes. Even in Afghanistan, parts of India Pakistan Iran are very cold. Recently saw Kashmiri children and men women badly dress surrounded by mountains of snow under -5-10C
