Napakabait ng pamilya neto.. we live in the same place, baranggay bulad in isabela negros occidental.. from bacolod, magtravel ka pa 3-3 hours going to isabela, then from isabela, travel ka almost 1 hour para marating ang brgay bulad.. ang lolo nya noon ay kapitan namin.. sobrang strikto yun.. di ko lang alam kung naabutan pa ni Ivan yung lolo nya pero bakal ang kamay nun kaya di napapalitan kasi mahal ng mga tao yun.. walang gulo noong panahon nya dahil pag nagkataon, naku ewan ko saan ka pupulutin.. kaso pinatay yung lolo nya.. ngayon, si lola eva naman nya ang kapitan.. napakabait talaga.. utangan ng mga tao yang tindhan nila pero cge lang.. kaya alam ko saan at sa papanong paraan pinalaki si Ivan dahil sa napaka down to earth na pamilya nila.. SB din ng town ang papa nya at wala ka talagang maririnig na masama against them.. kaya nagulat ako, ito na pla si ivan ngayon.. yung batang napakakulit noon na laging nakaangkas sa likod ng tatay nya habang nagmo-motor...almost 20 years na akong di nakauwi ng negros..

But right after watching this episode, I was enlightened. I shouldn't find happiness, security and what makes me feel comfortable, but rather I should seek for my purpose because that's true peace. Havent heard this person but since he is a guest in Toni's show then this guy must be somthing so i got curious. Oh wow! I literally jot down some words of wisdom...a lot actually! And ill never ever get tired of listening to this guy...he is such an inspiration! Ive been through this line "I was not searching for God.. but i God found me". Back then i was searching for something unknown, then i found God! He came to me. Thats when my awakening and journey started. It's true.. "Dont look for happiness..find your purpose". Hello sis, I am also a breast Cancer survivor, I was in a bedridden for 2years my left hand cannot carry anything, I could hardly eat cuz I have a worst allergy too on my face..Thanks God that one of our priest here adviced me to asked help on our Exorcist priest then scheduled me to hear some Healing Seminar after seminar I go to confession cause before on my younger years I don't really have faith on the Sacraments on the Church..Praise God for the Sacrament of Reconciliation I felt so much happy and all of my hurts and traumas and unforgiveness I asked pardon to God to all the sins I've committed and to my family and do the process of Forgiveness..Thanks God my 3 big lumps on my Left breast disappeared with the grace of God..and I did not goes to Cebu cause the doctor scheduled me to have biopsy then if what's the result I'll be undergo operation on my breast..My maintenance is receiving Jesus everyday and regular confession to a Priest..I thank so much God for allowing me that kind of sickness on my breast for 2 years my mum assist me when I go to bed and that sickness sis truly the bridge to Jesus..May God be praised forever and thru the intercession of Mama Mary and all the saints in Heaven .

I feel you I don't have a choice but to follow my parent and brought me to a seminary and Imagine I Finished Bachelor of Theology and later on realize that God has a big purpose for to be the light to my students life..I am now a public school teacher and my ministry never stop..still extending my territories to preach and teach the gospel... Upon reading most of the comments, I praise God that we are all inspired by God through this nomad Ptr. Jasper. I am a jungle school teacher here in Palawan, knowing that all the stories from Kuya Jasper is really true about the kids in the mountains! Indeed, God is giving His grace for underserving people like us to minister and help the kids. I myself being 6 years in the mission takes a big gut to have that leap of faith! By God's grace, with passion I was able to led by God to be here in the jungle. Indeed very greatful and extremely blessed with the great commission that God entrusted to us! This testimony and Pastor Iturriaga's life inspires me a lot. While watching this I've realized how much I long to be a missionary. Even during my highschool days, after I've encountered Jesus, I know inside that I'm willing to leave my family and risk everything just to do the calling He gave me. I'm crying while watching this because I felt so sad in my life right now. Just to get by, I've been working in a bpo company. Everything is good like how Pastor said, there's security but no peace. I kept on thinking what if? What if I leave everything and follow my calling on missions? The question I always have is where do I start and how? I've been having stagnant faith all through the years due to pressure to perform as I'm the only one who can support our family now that my siblings are all married aside from me. I'm the youngest but I feel carrying the burden alone. I can see how much joy you have in doing what you love. I really want to be like that and give it all I have so that everything I say and do will point to Jesus alone! Thank you for inspiring a lot of youth to not be afraid to take risk. I'm praying for revival so that the Holy Spirit will empower people and not be scared that the odds will be against us but that as long as God is with us, who can be against us?

Just pray. Make peace with yourself. Like what you said they are all married bigyan mo naman sila ng chance to do things on their own hindi ikaw nalang lagi ang andyan for them. Let the Lord use you in many ways. Pinipili lng ang taong may calling. Huwag mong hayaang mawala at hindi mabigyan ng magandang pages of your life story ang buhay mo. Kung mag missionary ka magiging makulay ang buhay mo kasi you'll not get stuck in the 4 corners of the wall in bpo. Plus you'll meet a lot of people and makes a difference in their lives. Just fly high.

This interview made me question my purpose and what am I still doing in this job that I hate. I cried in front of my laptop and looked at my elder sister who is the reason my heart got broken. I resigned from my previous job, left Cebu which I really love and went back to Manila to take care of her. I always asked why am I the sacrificial lamb? I knew I should have been for a greater purpose but I enclosed myself in a box. Thank you for this interview Toni.
