Shaq averaged almost 30 points and 14 rebounds in 2001. The 2017 warriors NEVER had to face a low post player like Shaq. The best center they faced during the playoffs that year was Rudy Gobert and nobody considers Rudy a good offensive player. Shaq was a great offensive player! Not one person on that 2017 Warriors roster could handle him. His advantage over the opposing teams player at his position would be greater then anyone else on the court. In a 7 game series 7’1 300 lbs Shaq would easily average 40 points and 20 rebounds against a 6’8 Draymond and 6’9 Kevon Looney.

He's not "locking up" klay unless he just stays glued 100% of the time. That takes a lot of energy and would likely affect his offense, no one is denying Klay all game, and chasing him off screens and also getting a efficient 30 on the other end. They lost in 04 and a big part was Kobe forcing shots. The warriors run a motion offense, not 1v1, the Warriors use screens to get the matchups they want.
