Jimin is literally the It Boy of Korea right now. He was voted King of K-Pop in 2019, he was just voted as Dabeme Best Dancer for 2020 as well as 2019, his personal brand has been #1 for the past 12 consecutive months, and he's trending all the time. I am so proud of Jimim. He barely made it into BTS because they already had 6 members and did they need a 7th? Although Jimin was almost cut several times before BTS debuted, he persevered and BigHits saw and admired his drive and determination as well as his talent and the rest as they say is history.

Okay, so I showed some BTS clips to my boyfriend and TOLD. ME. THAT. JIMIN. IS. PRETTIER. THAN. ME. I totally understand. This made me thought certain things about him. Jimin has a certain explosive and charming aura, like no one could copy or steal it from him. His aura is so unique and this man has dangerous duality. Jimin has feminine and masculine charm that attracts any gender and he knows how to use it simultaneously. He is cute and sexy at the same time without even trying. Each of his facial features are soft and quite feminine, tender eyes, small nose, high cheeks, full lips, charming smile but his face as a whole has strong and manly looks. See? His body is tiny and looks delicate but chiselled. His dance movements are graceful but sharp and detailed with emotions. He has monstrous skills but angelic personality. He is a living contradiction. He could always do both. I became an ARMY because of Jimin, he is so captivating (but hey I love the 7 of them it is just Jimin would always be a star).

Aegyo basically means “acting cute.” It’s a cultural thing in Korea. You’ll see lots of Kpop idols and other celebrities get asked to do “aegyo,” and then they’ll do certain cute gestures, expressions, and sounds. Jimin is known for having natural “aegyo,” which means he’s cute without trying. It’s funny cuz when he’s asked to do aegyo, it usually ends up being cringe because he’s embarrassed lol, but when he’s just being himself, he’s extremely cute.

He also seems to pay attention to the small things in live, he got moved to an older couple holding hands, befriends every cat and dog, he encounteres, loves children, got concerned for a dove with only one leg, likes to wander through streets and listen to every noise around him, always says he regrets not showing the members enough love after a trip with them. He always reminds them and himself to do smal favors for them constantly so they feel loved and appreciated since they might not be able to be together like this always. This tone sometimes finds its way into his letters to armys also. He often is the last one on stage and says things like "don't get sick", "take care" and " get home safely and dress weather appropriate". He is very caring.

Okay, so, hear me out: Jimin is a snake. Specifically, the snake in the garden of Eden that drove Adam and Eve to sin. There's a forbidden, wicked aspect to his stage presence that I love, he is also irresistible. If Hobi and JK are "I'll come and get you" types, Tae's a "you want me but can't have me" type, Jimin is "Come and get me, I dare you". He's so inviting and it feels dangerous when you look at him for too long, he is temptation of the darkest kind. But again, this is his stage persona. His offstage persona is still a snake, but bcs he is cunning, ambitious, determined, and a natural leader.

There are many reasons why Jimin is popular, but I think jimin have many male fans. Jimin was the only male idol in the top 5 Korean men like, according to popular opinion survey last year. As far as I remember, Jimin was ranked fourth in teenager and fifth in his 20s. This is impossible. I don't know any other country. At least since this poll was conducted in Korea, male idols have never been in the men's favorite member ranking of 10 . There are all girls... Looking at the results, I think Jimin is the best role model for Korean boy idols right now. Many idols cover Jimin's dance the most, but honestly, I don't feel much. That's effect of Jimin's dance. it's impossible to cover his dance There are many dancers who are technically better than Jimin. But Jimin's dance moves not only the eyes of the viewer but also the chest. Korea's most famous dance trainer compared Taemin and Kai Jimin's dance. Technically, Taemin was rated a little higher. But he says, "When I see Taemin and Kai dancing, I want to have that ability crazy." But when I see Jimin's dance, I think of a statue of David. I can't touch it, I can't approach it, I can just look at it. Like a moving piece of art on display in a museum. I think it's a very detailed analysis. When I ask the boys around me why they like Jimin, the answers are almost the same. First, they say jimin's tone is so unique. They likes his own tone, which can never imitate. And the more they watch Jimin dance, the more they fall in love with it. Watching Jimin's dance, they said time seemed to stop and mouth wouldn't shut. And last He's so cute and sexy ..How How ^^ They're confused if it's the same person. It's not that different from what we think. Right???

Thank you DT. What better to wake up to this morning. Jimin will put a smile on your face that will stay with you all day. I totally agree with everything you said and that is why he is my bias. He is so in tune with his body and how it feels the music which is why you often see him doing little things the others don't and things that weren't rehearsed, like the jacket in the Blood, Sweat and Tears video which he said was an accident. It is instinctive when he is really feeling it. He is so captivating that sometimes when you watch him dance you actually forget to breathe. Absolutely agree about his duality. I see his classical dance training showing in the way he holds his posture, as if suspended by a string on the top of the head, straight spine, weight on front of feet. The first time I came across BTS was with Boy with love on Spotify and I liked the song so wanted to see who these boys were, so searched the mv on KZbin. I immediately loved all the boys but Jimin was the one that held my attention, I could see from that first video that his body movements were different and that he had some classical experience. I got so hooked on BTS from that day forward and explored all the content I could find and yes Jimin is my bias since that first video, I really enjoy watching him and to put the cherry on top, he has a beautiful, unique voice, his laugh is infectious, his speaking voice is so soothing, angelic inside out. He really deserves to be named best dancer and not taking anything away from the other members, they are all unique and BTS as a group has the whole package, the best boy band in the world, The Magnificent 7💜💜💜💜💜💜💜!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, I introduced my 24yr old son and 19yr old daughter to BTS. Before, they listened to their music and I listened to my music but now we are all connected through BTS’s music and it was such a joy to get up at 5 in the morning to watch their concerts over the weekend. The explanation of what jimin does is that his dancing is an embodiment of the songs that he's dancing to, if the song is sexy, he will be sexy, if the song is cute, he will be cute, if the song is fierce he will be fierce, he doesn't do anything to make us want him. He already said that when he dances, he forgets everything, he is the song, that's why we fall in love with him through his dancing each time and we can't take our eyes of him. he studied dancing so he knows how to move his body expressing every emotion and that's what makes him different. What's maddening is that even though Jimin is my bias I can't , nor can any other BTS fan, deny that all the members have amazing talent. Nobody is a burden : this is hard to find in any group setting. For example, like you said - all members have great stage prescence. For example, V's acting and expressions - Jin also pulls this off very well. Or in JHope's energy. In Suga's passionate bars. In RM's SWAG. In JK's confidence. It just so happens that Jimin's mix of talent and his seductive style appeals to me personally, but all the guys are worthy of credit. It's refreshing that we have someone who appreciates all the members and takes a deep interest in them as individuals whilst still having a bias.

I believe that Jimin has brought something very special to world of kpop dancing. While other dancers like Taemin may be considered technically the best dancers (and justifiably so), Jimin not only showcases power, seduction, and proficiency in his dancing but grace and artistry as well. There is a certain fluidity to Jimin's dancing that juxtaposes his sharp and clean movements. Classical training in both music and dance focuses first and foremost on fundamentals rather than copying a style of dance. Then it begins to apply those strong fundamentals to mastering a sense of style. However, the main product of classical training is an exhibition of artistry and a communication of feelings. Accordingly, Jimin has mastered through his extraordinary natural talent the ability to apply what he has learned in helping him to adapt to varying styles of dance.

RM was my original bias, but Jimin stole me away like a thief in the night. Tae and JK started catching my attention.....Jimin wasn't having that and reminded that HE was my bias. I can't seem to shake him, he keeps me coming back for more!

Oh DT I really can relate to you... from the very first time you reacted to them, the Mic Drop one.. oh coz that’s also the very first music I heard from them and MV I watched. And yeah.. JIMIN is really really good, he really caught all my attention. His dancing was the very first reason that he’s my bias. The way he executes and deliver those moves is really different because of his style in dancing. If you watch all or some of their live performances (comeback stages/music award shows) you can really see it.
