Josh is the best QB, and along with his talents displayed, he is OUR QB. NO One better. I think he showed exactly what he's about during the "13 second" game. No other QB could have done that. The defensive scheme failed him. I've got his full size fat-head in my basement and I'm a 64 year old man. Bro-mance big time. Love him.

Was about to post the same. Not trashing on the PFF guys, but I would’ve been curious to hear them expand on that take. In KC: one of the greatest offensive minds (Reid), Mahomes, HOF TE (Kelce), stud WR (Rice), crazy fast WR (Worthy), stud RB who is hurt tho, and All-Pro’s/ Pro-Bowlers at all of their interior OL positions. In Buffalo- Brady is doing a great job as OC, Cook is a weapon but still drops TDs, their OTs are playing very well (Dawkins is a pro-bowler & Spencer Brown might be Pro-Bowl worthy), and then there’s Josh. It’s easy to love Shakir and Kincaid who are very good football players, but if they’re the de facto top-2 receiving options, compare them to other team’s top weapons (Cincy, SF, Miami, Detroit, etc)

The perfect example for the Bills progression offense is the Khalil Shakir TD. Josh's eyes start on Keon Coleman clearing deep, as he's covered the eyes slide left to Shakir on the crosser moving into his vision which became the td. If Shakir wasn't there, then Kinkiad was dragging across behind Shakir. It's an easy built in progression in the design where the Bills are just asking one guy to beat their guy. There's no presnap read, it's on Josh's intelligence

I think it’s funny that now that, Josh has been significantly better than Mahomes, the Bills are now some kind of loaded offense and Mahomes is handcuffed by how poor his supporting cast is. I’d love these people to watch their discussions a month ago.

Allen is better than Mahomes. I have never seen a quarter back that does what he can do. Mahomes has the best coaching staff in the NFL. KC would have been drilled by the Bills last year if the Bills weren't decimated with defensive injuries. It wasn't his fault when the coaching staff couldn't even scheme the debacle in the last 13 seconds the year before that. Allen has had a lot less weapons than KC and KC has played in a weak ass division for years and they pretty much are gifted the #1 seed. Allen should have been the MVP once if not twice already. He does the most with way less and gets a bad wrap because of it. Mahomes was lucky to win 3 SB'S and in my opinion he shouldn't have won any. Overrated Shanahan blows coaching and cost 49ers 2 super bowls and Eagles should have blown the super bowl wide open in the first half.

They've had ONE year where they went into the playoffs with a mostly intact roster, that was 2021 when they lost the AFC Championship as a result of the 13 seconds debacle. Even the Skylar Thompson Dolphins would've held onto win against KC with 13 seconds left on the ticker.

Good to see somebody break it down a bit. Allen is indeed a freak. In 2018 he'd flash and I couldn't process it. I'd just call him "horse." Swatting unblocked blitzers like annoying flies. He doesn't "throw," it's more like a flick. A flick that goes 40 yards at fastball speed. QB school broke down a play and it is spot on. Youi don't even notice what happened til you slow it down. Nobody has the arm he does. Every other QB - and there are good ones - has to put so much more effort into the throw. Allen just decides and half a second later it's gone. His biggest problem early on was the "touch" on short throws. Impossible to pick six him in that classic, jump-the-sideline-route way. He's just too quick to read and throws too powerfully to do anything about. Idiots harp on interceptions but don't watch so they have no context. A lot of them are high risk/high reward 3rd/4th down plays in opposition territory but outside FG range. So many times you'll see a dumbass CB snag a pick in the endzone and run it out to the 5. And then they celebrate!? Would've had the ball on the 35 but hey! You got a pick! Josh doesn't care about stats. That's why he is gonna win it all.

Seth has some absolutely spot-on observations of Bills O. Not at all a copy/paste opinion usually seen by most of the NFL talking heads. Also what is so much worse in KC this year compared to last? Mahomes still has a top 3 all time TE, 2nd year rashee rice, Xavier worthy and one of the greatest head coaches of all time. Not to mention they have one of the best DCs in the league. No doubt Mahomes is the best QB in the league when you consider entire careers, but right now Josh Allen is the best player in the league and it’s not really close.

The situation in KC is not even remotely "worse" than it was the past several years. Patty still has the #1 HoF TE, Xavier Worthy, Rice, a top defense, and the best coaching staff in the NFL, by a long shot. We're starting to see Josh emerge as top dawg QB, and the true colors of Patty Mahomes...he's nothing spectacular.

Coming into this season, he had fewer turnovers than Manning, I believe Brady and an impressive list of QB’s in their first 6 seasons. And he’s responsible for more tds than any of them in the same time period!

Mahomes situation entering the league was a successful team that made the playoffs every year, beating the Brady led Pats on prime time multiple times. Smith has a horrific injury, off Mahomes goes! Allen gets drafted to a team that just made the playoffs for the first time in 17 years with a rookie head coach and GM. Incognito was his LG, Dawkins played RT in his rookie season. Benjamin and Jones were his top WR's and Clay was the TE, along with an aging Shady! NOW the situation being different and difficult is a reason to not place Allen ahead of Mahomes this season? Why? Because Patrick has the tougher go for the first time in his career? I'll take Manning over Brady every day of the week!
