@@Vahalio To be fair, this interaction was more role-play than most. To Judds point he was trying to be smart, and outwit the cops. He had a fake plate tied to a case number which would check out with his version of the story. He was being creative, and then the cops just assume it's a fake plate cus they know OOC or even IC that they can be applied as such. So then after all the conversations they are trying to push a search, trying to find a gun, drugs or anything of that sort to push it on him. To be fair to the cop, he did agree to cite him which was fun but then double backing to search him that has no relation to a citation for hit and run is ridiculous. He knows the ability to pull fake plates but can't prove so he's pushing other shit. Overall there is zero probably cause, hit and run, accident for them to search his vehicle.

This cop did actually take this personal. The devil is in the details as they say. When Judd said that the cop could just give him a ticket for negligent driving the cop agreed then said "but" Judd had turned it personal by saying it was harrassment. So the fact the cop admitted he was taking it further because Judd said it weas harrassment shows this was the cop got ego bruised and so started to push everything he could. Also he asked Judd for permisison to search and Judd denied permission so the cop put just enough charges on to search him anyway.

"top tier RP" involves having a bit of suspension of disbelief when it comes to the mechanics of the game. Winston is actually one of the better cops at RP, and has pretty in-depth character explanations for how he uses all of his equipment with 1 arm. If theres anyone who understands that theres limitations in the games systems, and that sometimes you just got to ignore the mechanics in favor of RP, it would be him. Pretty certain he talked Jones down from pushing the fake plate charge too.

Judd hit the nail on the head several times in this... "now the question is are they going to take the L?".... "thats why people just shoot you instead of interact with you"..... And this is the problem on this specific RP server, the cops have been led to think in terms of W and L and its 100% Ssabbs fault literally. Almost any interaction they start fishing. They think I am a cop, I know they are a crim, so therefore I know they have to have illegal things on them, so because I know that (and saying know is assuming, and against the law in any state and in this server) its instantly RS. (reasonable suspicion). Therefore it allows said cop to escalate the situation, which is counter to what SOP says cops are supposed to do, but on target for what the cop culture in NP has been instructed verbally by the top guy for the last 11 months. Said same person is also the nerf everything crim, buff everything cop person. (note Soze is back and look at how hes making sweeping changes TO THE COPS and getting rid of soooo many things they have had along with demoting, decerting, and outright running a few people off!!) Fact is, dont mess with a guy thinking you can outsmart and know more than him because he sounds like a hick! Judd has more horsepower between the ears than you can ever hope to have and is also a judge in the city!

I dont agree at all that its 100% Ssabs fault, I would agree that he does have some influence over the PD however there are other Cops in command roles that have influenced these "Dub chaser" cops more. and I believe BASS isn't the sole reason for situations like these. also I think that using Ssab the streamer's name was unnecessary. unless of course you're actually talking about the streamer, however I believe that the Character Bass should be used and not out right putting the streamer on blast. this goes for other streamers as well. IMO

The talk of HC (high command) has been pretty much absent behind the scenes for months and just in the last 2 starting being more active. But behind the scenes, on a day to day level, SSabb has had full control of the police side of NP for almost a full year. The main "admins" behind the scenes for Cop mechanics was, virtually forever, was Andrews and Koil. They took a step away. Look how long you didnt even see Tony in the server at all, in character or out! And Koil from 3.0 was wanting to play crim, hence you didnt see much of Soze, but saw a ton of Otto then Francis (and that was only after a 3-4 month break to play Rust). Ssabb had full control of the police side, in front of and behind, the curtain in NP.

And you act like Command can change the PD without koil’s say. Even if koil isn’t playing on cop he still has a part in it. There’s always stuff going on behind the scenes that we the viewer don’t know about. But your opinion on bass is what you believe but I still think you’re wrong on putting the blame solely on Ssab. I like this RP, but not for the reasons that are in the comment section. There are two things in this RP that are apparent after watching the first 7 minutes of the video. The first thing is that Judd specifically thought about this scenario, how it would play out, and planned it so that it would play out in a certain way for a reason. I believe that Judd was intentionally trying to bring about a certain interaction. The second thing is that this cop is not prepared for nor does he understand what's happening at all. He is not aware of what Judd's intentions are and gets caught completely off guard from a roleplay perspective and this is very important point. It looks like Judd is trying to roleplay real-world logic into the game in a certain specific way for a specific purpose and intent. The cop can't prove that the car is stolen, in real life cops don't 'assume' that a car is stolen just because the license given doesn't match the vehicle registration. In order for them to do something like that the vehicle must be reported stolen. You can see the cop make statements about calling the 'owner' of the vehicle, or seeing whether they are employeed by maldini's. None of these things happen in real life, a cop isn't going to do that stuff. This caught the cop off guard, and it was a caught of guard in the sense of 'how do I roleplay this correctly?' kind of situation. This is a very important distinction to make because it's not the distinction of 'how do I win this?'. I believe that the cop wanted to try and roleplay the situation to the 'win', but I do not believe that they necessarily cared whether the 'win' was sending Judd to jail or arresting him or giving him a ticket. I believe that the 'win' the cop was looking for was merely to not 'make a stupid mistake in roleplay that is embarrassing' and 'be a good cop'. Roleplay is a strange place, it can be hard to seperate yourself from your character and the interactions you find yourself in. I think the cop was wanting to not be made a fool. Wanted to avoid being taken advantage of or lied to. This is very important because the nuance is distinct and the devil is in the details. I do believe the cop had that problem of taking the roleplay personally, mainly because it is very hard to take the confrontation at 6:40 in any other way. People in comment sections or twitch chat can trash talk it but hindsight is 20/20 and it's very easy to get lost in a moment, especially when rough language is directed at your character. I do not think that the cop did anything wrong by having that feeling/interaction. Now, after Judd spoke his peace at 6:40 the cop should have said "That's correct, you're innocent until proven guilty." and gone forward with the original directive for the stop because of the reckless driving and collision. The cop didn't do this because they felt they were being made a fool of, felt they were being taken advantage of in some way they were unaware of. They felt that their control/influence over the situation was removed in some arbitrary way and that caused them to react badly. That is ok. These things happen in roleplay and it's fine. This happened to me when I started roleplaying a LOT and I completely understand how this cop must have felt. It puts you in a situation where there's no way out, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. It's an experience thing. tl;dr: I don't think the cop was trying to be a W cop just because they wanted the W. I think the cop was roleplay checked and wasn't experienced enough to know how to handle the situation and fumbled because of it.

Yeah, so cops have known for a while about the Laptop app where people can lookup fake plates and get that info, I remember a PD briefing over this and even mentioned that generally the driver will not know someone else in the car will be saying the name of the person under the fake plate, because the passengers are the ones looking/using the laptop most of the time and not the driver. I dont know when they did but it was a while ago, maybe some dumb crim thought it was funny to snitch or if a cop got access to those tools by doing actual investigative work. But this is so stupid to see, before he tries to interact it seems his mind is made up as to this is what is happening, these are the facts and RP gets thrown out the window, and turns into a W-L scenario.

You can run a guns serial number and see if the casing was recovered at a crime scene, making said gun hot or clean.

It can be clearly heard in Judds voice and through his actions that he wants to leave imo. If the cop cared at all he wouldnt have spent the extra time there. He literally went to his car to sort the charges and had the audacity to not run the gun right then and there too while he had the chance/when he should have run it but no he had to get out of his car, tell Judd his charges and then tell him to WAIT even more while he looked up the gun. He was making Judd sit there as long as possible well aware of how Judd felt. There is no way the cop was that oblivious to how Judd felt in that moment. They knew what they were doing by drawing things out as long as they could at the end.

@@SykelGames Nothing can stop it but the cop not prolonging things can easily end it sooner than it did. Im pretty sure ive seen stuff happen where the crim says something around the same line wanting to end the situation and just send them to jail or whatever it may be and the cop acknowledges that. Obviously if they just got caught they dont magically send them off. Hopefully this made sense. The only way to stop is to F8 sooner but things can easily be ended even just a little bit sooner if the other person just respects how the other person feels. I didnt see that from this cop at all.

I've played across so many servers, if it's not the police than it's the top crim gangs who "rp" themselves and so justify their ooc anger, or it's an ego powered government, or it's GTA Online everyone robbing everyone in the street lol. You have to pick your poison unfortunately. It's VERY hard to get people to respect your character rp, it's normally a road of super hard Ls because you always play the bigger RPer in the situations so you bite the bullet. The -1 way out is so fucking easy because you just win.

I think the point he was just trying to make is what he said, whether they take the L or W. This was suppose to be mostly about them getting hit by the car and made it more than just that. He gave the correct name of the fake plate which is what the mechanic on the laptop. Thats why he decided to say whats the purpose of having that when jones says they know they can do that.
