The food was free. They said they would order up to $600 worth of food. That’s payment in it’s own way since they didn’t pay for it. It does seem like if the show was popular and made ad revenue they would get paid something though for their time. I’m not sure how much profit they made or if they had sponsorship deals.

I'm sure the question was innocent, but it can be pretty triggering for some if they have any type of body dysmorphia or eating disorders. Basically, it's in a similar realm to asking someone how much they weigh or what size clothes they wear. Aside from that soapbox moment, I really enjoyed watching these videos over the years. Lots of great food to see to give ideas of where to go and lots of laughs in between. Looking forward to seeing what's to come in the future.

It's really amazing you guys were able and are able to do the things you are passionate about, I really enjoyed every episode. A lot of the times my multiple sclerosis was flaring and I would be unable to eat but watching you always helped. Living on the west coast, many of the places you went to aren’t out here. If Delish is doing a new test kitchen, why not choose some of your favorite items and attempt to recreate them? These two make a great duo. I was always excited to watch the newest episodes of their show. And it truly was great advertising for these restaurants. There were a handful of times that I was enticed to go to a restaurant after watching an episode based there. I was a little surprised that Julia was slightly hesitant to answer the "friendship" question regarding those two. Chelsea seemed a bit sadly shocked as well. I thought Julia would easily answer that question with a resounding "yes we're true friends" or "yes, she's one of my closest friends" etc. I see them on each others Instagram pages and they seem to me like genuine besties.
