As we were editing this video, Joysound also announced 2 PC ports for Steam. One for home use, and another that includes licensing for content creators streaming on Twitch and KZbin. Should be coming out this fall!

Another little karaoke history tidbit connecting Japan and Philippines is that Karaokekan (カラオケ館), another major karaoke shop business, has a Filipino+Japanese family as one of its owners.

I’ve used Karafun for years on an iPad or laptop paired with a speaker/mic system. For the price Karafun is fantastic and most people already have a device that can run it. Just need to invest in a basic PA. You can also do a second display with Karafun to connect it to a projector or TV. Highly recommended option.

My parents dabble in a bit of karaoke cause their friends like doing it and they send videos back and forth on messanger. What they use is an audio amp that's already used for the record player and it has a 1/4 in mic input. So that with youtube is their karaoke set up.

Interesting thing with the hardware, there has been at least one occasion where game console hardware has been used for karaoke machines. In particular I'm pretty sure there was a Joysound unit built around the Wii U with custom firmware to not allow the user to access anything outside of the Joysound app. IIRC these were moreso meant for bars rather than karaoke boxes

Went one of the most fun undergound karaoke places ever in Tokyo a decade ago. Took over a month to get an invitation. And why would it take so long to get invited to this underground private place? One word, Weed. It was reallt really expensive but something i never forget.

Ken: it is the number one nighttime adult social activity in China as well. In China it is known as “KTV,” though. In China there are legit ktv places that offer singing and food and LOTS of alcohol. There are less legitimate places as well that offer girls to “sing” with you. These, however, are a little more akin to strip clubs or peep shows. Girls will join you, dance, strip, and play games.

Loved to use it for whole summer in my family's summer cottage. 😃 To answer your question I have too many anime songs that I love so I don't really have just one go to karaoke song. 😅

i think those are expensive for a karaoke option, now a days with TV capable of getting youtube app and youtube uploader for videooke songs, now it is easy, a simple amplifier with microphone connect your TV audio out, then boom, you have a karaoke set, with the help of internet. the expensive ways or part as your price, is to buy an amplifier, graphic equalizer, a mixer, a set of 500w speaker(up too you how many speaker you want with combination of subwoofer and tweeter) then youll have a full set of studio machine right in your home, without buying this gimikie devices where you need to subscribe or pay an online service(like magic sing or wow sing) to get a set of new songs to play. KZbin has all your OLD and latest song in Videoke format.

I never really liked karaoke even as my father is really good singer and he arranged local karaoke place for awhile. He also competed once on some pretty big event and got pretty high but he isn't exactly guy that liked to perform on big audience and that was first and last event else than karaoke. Even as being son of one that knows lot of karaoke and the machines of it. I do not know even shit about all of that. As I never got into it. Well else than playing it in Yakuza which isn't really anything.

Why is it KZbinrs forget to mark their videos “PAID PROMOTION”
@yukihong97263 ай бұрын
From my understanding, UK product placement laws are a lot more strict than they are in the US (Where Denki is based) While I can't vouch for whether or not this truly is paid promotion or not, I hope I can clarify this somewhat. Paid promotion means that the creator has been compensated either financially, given vouchers, or given free product. This means that hypotetically, if I was a car KZbinr and Toyota offered me compensation to promote their latest car, I'd be obligated to place the paid promotion tag on my video. However, if I'm showing off my car collection, pointed at one of the cars and claimed it as my favorite for reasons xyz, and I wasn't compensated for that, it would not count as paid promotion. I can't say whether or not Denki recieved payment for the product placement, but I do hope this helped clairfy!
@CricketEngland3 ай бұрын
@@yukihong9726 from looking at your channel you obviously don’t uploaded many videos and don’t fully understand the rules of YT. When anyone is paid (in money or items of any kind) to advertise items in their videos, the user should when uploading the video tick the check box “includes paid promotions” that way when people play the video they are show a little messages (usually top left) “included paid promotion” to warn people we will be seeing a long promotional advert of some kind in the video made by the user
