As someone who came from the KH series to FFXIV. Let me tell you that bio is underselling just how good the story is. I used to be one of those people who begged ppl to play KH. and now I recommend xiv. If you play kh for the story, you know you're an emotional bitch just like me. Get in here!!! Fall in love with a catboy! Bio didn't even mention Dark Knight! And that's JUST so kh it hurts!!!

Came from FFXIV into KH. FFXIV can be super overwhelming as a new player, especially if you are new to MMOs (like I was). But give it some time, go at your own pace, and form your thoughts and enjoy the ride. Lifechanging game.

I **SWEAR** If we don't get a FFXIV/KH4 Crossover when 4 comes out... cause like.. with Sora's new look in the 'realistic' FF style... he's perfect for XIV! As cool as it'd be to see him in his classic KH style and proportions, I feel his Quadratum form fits XIV's style more.

Funnily, soon after seeing this video when it dropped i ran into your AFK character in Ul'dah! I only recently picked up the game, nesring level 30 and only recently met the scions, but cant wait to play more! I still have no idea what im doing, but I definitely plan to play long enough to unlock the reaper so i can pretend im cool and look like i know what I'm doing.

I optimized the living hell out of my HUD so that it takes up as little space as possible. (Very reminiscent of FF16's HUD) ***I plan on returning to the game soon!

Story line/lore wise FF14 is just a pure SE kingdom hearts without Disney involvement and what KH would have been without Disney's hands in it

As a KH fan, I can agree with this video 100000000%. FFXIV remains my first ever MMO and the ONLY MMO I play. It has been such a great experience. Highly Recommend it as we wait for anything to be announced about the KH series.

As a longtime Kingdom Hearts fan, I testify! I fell IN LOVE with Final Fantasy XIV, it's world, and above all, it's characters. Hell, I even named and modeled my WoL after KH Sora, and she's an awesome Sunshine Au Ra. PS: I tried to fit a little bit more of KH in her story, but it became overstuffed.

When FF 14 is over it would be great if they released a Single player offline version that includes the full main Story from the original FF 14 and all of a realm reborn. Its weird that everything pre Bahamut's apocaliptic Flare is completely inaccesible despite being canon and well the begining of the story of Eorzea.

After this kh drought that we're in I've been in love with xenoblade Chronicles which I never thought I'd enjoy. There might be a chance after I'm done with 3 I'll give ff14 another try on PC after watching this

I mean, fair, but tbh the system will automatically pair you with people to finish the content with if you go with Duty Finder, or it can give you NPC party members if you go with Duty Support/Trusts. But don’t like the random strangers in fights scare you! Especially with early dungeons, people tend to be v forgiving to newbies. It isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely worth branching out in game ime. :3

That's only if you are financially stable, I have also the problem that I will not play a game for months because I felt more strongly for pokemon/dragon ball etc.

There’s a free trial ^^ for like the entire game and first two expansions! But yeah after you catch up there is a sub you pay

@@TheDarkFuryKnightI mean, you can just opt to pay when you can. Plenty of folks only pay their subs to log in to do story content when it releases, then leave it for when there’s nothing new they care about. And even the director advises folks to take breaks!

⁠@@JustSomeFoxBoi Unfortunately there used to be a time window for the free trial. It was for one month when i tried to get into 14. But I ran of my 1 month free trial because i had college and work to deal with. So i had to pay for the subscription service for a month or two before i dropped it. I was early/middle ARR which i was already having a hard time getting through due to how boring i found it. And i genuinely dont have the stable income for a mmo thats THAT expensive. So unfortunately! Unless square has a fix for a case like mine, id imagine it’d be hard for a lot of people like me to continue FFXIV.
