Acc to me both the environment and the devlopment is crucial for a developing country like India if we will only do development neglecting the environment, nature will attack in form of flood , earthquakes, etc. Taking care of the environment is important, but we also need to ensure that our 1.4 billion population is well-fed. Neglecting either of these areas can lead to disastrous consequences. Therefore, it's crucial to strike a balance between environmental conservation anddevelopment to ensure a sustainable future for all. It is essential for development to go hand in hand with environmental conservation to maintain balance.

The ongoing hunger strike in Ladakh for statehood requires ATTENTION BY THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ...... Strengthen the existing Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) with greater financial and administrative autonomy. This could involve increased budget control over local development projects and decision-making power on issues like land use and environmental regulations. Establish a joint council with Jammu and Kashmir to address shared concerns like water resources and infrastructure development. This fosters cooperation while recognizing Ladakh's identity. The Darjeeling gorkha hills (DGHC) in West Bengal provides a model for an empowered autonomous council with a degree of self-governance within a larger state structure. THIS IS EXAMPLE OF SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION.. Engaging in open dialogue involving Ladakhi representatives, the central government, and Jammu and Kashmir officials is crucial.

I agree that Ladakh people's concern about their culture and environment is right. But Ladakh shares it borders with our two enemy countries China and Pakistan. So by including Ladakh in 6th schedule and central govt. has no power over Ladakh isn't a good option.

India should focus on the Ladakh issue quickly and rather then including ladakh in 6th schedule .Ladakh should be provided with any other act which govt can make for the welfare of such a crucial area which is in immense pressure from inside and outside . IND govt should provide a sustainable development between environment and other developments a balance sheet is necessary to maintain their ,provide autonomous under govt surveillance and meetings with ladakh peoples telling them and making them understand about envo and devp together . this can provide INDIA to get a chance to show it handling towards envo and devp to the world and a show of dominance in its neighbours .

I think both environment and development is necessary. But in my priority i will choose environment because development will not exist without environment . without environment there will be many disaster we all will be faced like flood, drought ,earthquake ,and more. for country development both of them is necessary.

In regards with issue of ladakh, I think providing autonomy to ladakh may be better for strengthening administration and development of ladakh, however it might lead to a unbalanced state from the defence pov. Unlike northeastern states, ladakh lies in a conflicted zone of Indian territory surrounded by countries like china and is near to pok. Autonomy in ladakh might influence and revoke people in Kashmir to rise up with demands of autonomy. Moreover, the central gov's grip on the already conflicted region would loosen this way and in future if Ladakh's people get influenced by nearby country then it would create another set of unending conflicts. In conclusion, the government should do a deeper study on the consequences of including it in 6th schedule and find suitable alternatives.

As a developing country development is must and side by side we have to sustaine our environment as well. In today's world as much development is happening more and more, environment is something which should not be ignored , cause deterioration of environment will cause the big problem for the human beings which can become a major issue for the development also and for the sustainability of environment and people preserving them development must go on, and defenielty that's the work of our government and us too, to balance both of them cause government will lay out the process and we are the protector of the right and wrong. In the cade of ladakh in my opinion it do deserve the 6th schedule as for them it is more easy to understand the need and development. But bringing changes it is not something which comes easily and in the elections government will not take these actions I doubt or maybe for sure. So the protest must be stopped for these months and after the new government will be form it must be asked and when the action is not taken the peaceful protest but me carried by the people not only ladakh but us others indian too. Q. What do you think , would it be right or wrong to take any steps amid the ongoing protests in ladakh? Ans, I think, sonam wangchuk's stand for his state is non - negotiable. But, the hunger strike wouldn't be an appropriate way for protest, perhaps, they don't have any other option except agitation. But the government cannot move any further until the mcc (model code of conduct) is implemented. They seek mainly two prominent things which is statehood and inclusion into sixth schedule of the Constitution for the sake of their tribal and cultural life . Apart from that, it was an important agenda which had been mentioned in the election manifesto in the year 2019 of the incumbent officials. If NCST( national commission for scheduled tribes) has been granted it's approval for the inclusion of ladakh in the sixth schedule, then it should be a legal matter and for that, LAB( leh apex body) would take a further step towards judiciary in order to get justice. After all, everything is covered until its hidden!

Saving ladakh is not just for Ladakhis but for entire humanity. We should see the Climate disaster looming on our head. So Environment is more important. However border security is important too. So only that much development should be done and that too according to the structural landscape. But development in the name of meeting consumption needs will have huge cost in the form of disasters. So industrialization of such sensitive areas should be restricted at all costs. Now decisions are taken by govt only. The only thing that is surprising is that why can not govt see this big thing coming? Because if they would, they should not be reluctant to preserve the area.

Q What should be more important, development or environment? Ans both the things are inter -linked with each other. If one gets detoriate, then, another will get destroyed too. In the sense of pluralistic approach, it should be more important to conserve and develop at a same time. otherwise, it couldn't be sustain for so long no matter how many building and apartments you build.

Solution for the issue: *As per my opinion, the authority should be given to both parties first the LG appointed by Central govt. And one selected representative of ladakhians there (don't know whether it's possible or not) that eventually result in coordination between both the parties and it will also facilitate the people of ladakh to communicate their interest regarding language, culture environment etc and problem to their representative so that he/she could make him understand the same and he could administer as per the needs of the situation... * the second solution could possibly be the ruling govt. should give a proper justification for rejecting the proposal despite promising them to provide 6th schedule status under the manifesto My stand on this protest: * First of all for the fragile ecosystem of Ladakh the govt. Needs to be more considerate towards the potential environmental threats it could pose for the nation.. * There should be a balance between the developmental activities and resources exploitation there and we all know India is a developing country so we can't ignore the developmental aspects of tourism for us... But there should be supervisory body to regulate such activities of tourism which is burdening the ecosystem there. Talking about the importance of environment.. İt's really witnessable for all of us * For ex.. We have already been witnessing the consequences of declaring war against nature in the form of flood, forest fires, climate change and what not... And the developed countries has always been vulnerable to the disasters as they have exploited and overused the natural resources to the best possible manner... "Environment can't be protected without development '' is as true as the above statement. ** Whenever we think about this term development we have clear picture in our mind which may be buildings, airports, GDP and many more such things but we should be talking about the sustainable development which is already being promoted by the many international organisation... And this is also true if we use optimally technology for the protection of nature it would proved to be boon for humankind... ** Many developed and developing countries such as China ,USA Sweden Norway amd many more have been adopting scientific innovations and techniques such as the very famous green technology, satellites, electric stuffs to to the same.. Both environment and development are necessary for the development of the country. I believe environment and development both are important for growth and prosperity of a nation.Environment is an integral part of human survival and development is a necessity in this growing and developing world. However, the balnce is not usually maintained. It's necessary to maintain a balnce between nature and growth. Sustainability is important and alot of examples and practices are available. some of them are: 1. Opting for renewable energy resources like solar power instead of fossil fuels for electriciy generation 2. Reducing our carbon footprint 3. reducing pollution and etc. It's important to emphasize the need for socio-economic development and the need to limit the environment's capability to cope with present and future requirements. Environemt has been a necessity for more than a millenia and development is crucial for survival of humanity. Sustainability is the only practice where environment and development can go hand-in-hand.

i believe that environment and development both are equally important and keeping in mind the Ladakh issue i think an amicable solution to the problem is not by introducing the 6th schedule as the rest of the states with 6th schedule may look very pleasing and euphoric but i think all these states lack on grounds of development, development is not simply creating infrastructure and buildings. Development also comprises of better living standards. The corruption is indispensable as states which have 6th schedule have rich politician who are not subjected to audits, not that the rest of the states are corruption free but still audits and being answerable to the central government creates a sense of accountability within the politicians.Too much development is not possible in Ladakh because of the extreme climate as the tourist visiting period is 6 months at max. The people there also need tourist as employment is created because of them but yes the number of tourist should be limited and that should be worked upon by restricting tourist after a certain limit. On any construction related matters the say of the tribal people should be addressed and one member of their tribe elected by the people themself should be a part of the state govt. Hence sutainable development is possible with or without 6th schedule.

Both are equally important, the development of our country must be done by keeping our environment in mind, and pieces of evidence are witnessed of our negligence towards the environment. Many landmark judgments are held by the honorable Supreme Court like Subhash Kumar vs State of Bihar, and Chameli Singh vs State of up, The right to life established in Art. 21 encompasses the right to enjoy pollution-free water and air for the full enjoyment of life,".However, development is equally important, or rather sustainable development. The development also includes the standard of living of citizens, if they are not living in a healthy environment than we cant say that development done is actual development or not

Development is almost impossible without some capitalistic greed, and pure conservation does lead to some isolationism and backwardness. There is no such thing as a perfect balance but we must consider this-- we can go for vacation to a luxury resort elsewhere. Can we also buy an alternate glacier, or a new pair of lungs?
