How he meandered with that story and kept you with him wandering how it would end is a gift. I enjoyed it.

JG is one of the absolute funniest all time greatest comedians. I mean the jokes…go without saying, but even his “look” and expressions just make the whole thing so much funnier. We’ve been huge fans since seeing him In Nashville in the late 80’s, and were still fans today, (2021) and we are better for it Godspeed James! Thanks for every laugh!

How do ? Love from a Canadian Baptist 🇨🇦. He is so very funny. I have an Irish Canadian friend who is such a story teller I'd sit in the bar all night just to hear him talk and I dont even drink. For instance his brother fell face first off of his roof one Sunday after church while his kids and nephews and neices were all in the yard with their moms - he went face first off the roof into BlackBerry canes ( arghhhhhhh) and as he did shouted " Don't try this at home kids!!". Which I find screamingly funny but perhaps it's a Canadian Baptist thing lolol. British style dry humour. 🤣🇨🇦

So true! I grew up poor in Alabama and as a kid, whenever my granny used to say there'd be a funeral we'd go, too. My eyes would get all starry, thinking of the mega loads of fried chicken, pound cakes, popovers(rolls), etc. Of course I had to endure a two hour or more funeral service in a country church with no air conditioning before my kinfolk would drive us to the house hosting the funeral supper. 🥴😂🥴

My dad back in the day finally got him a riding mower and he loved that damn thing....problem was he liked to drink a lot, so he would get tanked up and ride it up and down the street in front of our house at 2-3:00 in the morning. Needless to say but our neighbors didn't care too much for that.
