I played for many years, and I dig how you can explain complex ideas in an understandable manner. Plus, your a heck of a player!

@@RichSeversonGuitar Rich, Did you modify it? I have a Golden Eagle from around 1993 with a floating pickup. Not sure I get your tone but then I would need to know your amp settings. I'm using a Fender Deluxe Reverb clean with little or no reverb.

I really enjoy hearing you play and I appreciate the theory you offer during your lessons. You are a very fine player with great tone and you always play very beautiful guitars. By the way, I have a copy of your book "Blues and Rock Guitar Solos Vol. 1", copyright 1979, with the original floppy vinyl record still taped to the inside cover! Thanks for what you do, it is inspiring.

Whats that amp to your right (left side of the video) in the background? An old tube amp?
@RichSeversonGuitar6 жыл бұрын
An old tube Gibson, It's more of blues amp. Looks cool but I never use it.
@ImOnlyFakingIt6 жыл бұрын
Cool! I'd love to hear you play through such an amp! Wouldn't that be the sound of the early Blue Note recordings, Kenny Burrell, Grant Green, Jim Hall as well?

Your neck hand seems to be almost moveless, when you are soloing... and your picking hand goes thru the movement of strumming, but your are picking single notes... Wtf, that is some voodoo shit, man...
