As a die hard Liverpool fan since the year 2000 , I’m flabbergasted how Slot inherited this team and made it his own. I honestly thought we’d slip into mediocrity for at least 5 years after Klopp left. Winning the league in his first year was something I never saw coming .

Dats from trauma of Hicks and Gillette have done. When they fcuk us up, we lost everything Houllier and Benitez build 'Here me out' - 2008/09 we finished 2nd@86pts behind MU@90pts ... 2009/10, instead of invest on new recruits, backing Rafa and mount another PL challenge, we sold players left, right and center to cover loan interest. It lead to Rafa leaving us... 2010/11 - we downgraded to Roy Hodgson... 2011/12 - FSG bailed us out and they had to start from scratch, clearing our debt, getting right personnel behind the scenes up to needing Dalglish coming out off retirement bcoz we can't get anyone decent... From 2010/11 to 2015/16, our points tally were 65 - 58pts at 6th - 8th place... 2013/14 was an anomaly. The 2nd@84pts, still can't match Rafa's 86pts ... With dat being said, the worry dat u had was PTSD from Roy Hodgson and Brendan Rodgers era totalling 4 seasons of crap ... at least Dalglish won EFL Cup and reached FA Cup final... thank god FSG swoop in for Klopp the moment he's available 😊 I can't shake Klopp and Slot similarities before their Anfield gig .. and Klopp went on to achieved more success with us.... ... and seems like Slot will continue his success with us... Klopp manage 2 clubs. Mainz and Dortmund. Won Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal Reached UCL final. Slot manage 2 clubs. AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord. Won Eredivise and KNVB Reach UCC final LFC supporter since 1980 during Bob Paisley....
