I love how this video reframes independence as a journey of self-discovery rather than isolation. The biblical references, especially Proverbs 14:1, beautifully highlight the wisdom in building a life that reflects our values and identity. Living alone isn't just an option; it's an opportunity to thrive!

Not always. The Apostle Paul said it is better to remain single if you can. I was married for 41 years to a very detached man, and have been widowed for 2.7 years and I'm thriving on my own. I feel peace, relief, joy, comfort and the security of knowing God is with me always. This is better by far. I'm grateful for this time to be "me", heal and grow even more. I love the freedom I have and am grateful to God for it all. I'm 69 and have many good years ahead of me, Lord willing. If not, I know He's got me in His loving hands. ❤

I feel that life is meant to be shared. Yet I have found in my experience with lifes experiment that people have enough friends and enough problems, and do not want any more of either one. Perpetuation of humanity needs interactions with others. Love knows no other way.

When man left the garden, he was given one instruction. Be fruitful and multiply. All this touchy feely crap about support, happiness, freedom. I agree don't be in a hurry, and don't hitch your wagon to a miserable, spoiled, or nagging woman, but doing meaningful things is more important than most other things. If the Creator of man said it is not good for him to be alone, He probably knew what He was talking about. Don't rush into anything, let things happen in His time and create fertile ground for good things through your actions, but there's no virtue by itself in living alone. It can be a tool, but it's not a solution to anything.

God made Eve for Adam as a helpmate for him (even if she was the downfall of mankind and introduced sin into the world). God said, "It is not good for man to be alone." It's why he made Eve. There are benefits to being alone, sure, but it creates other challenges. For example, if I hadn't had my husband's financial support, most of my hours would be spent not alone but working to support myself. Being married, I have a lot more free time to spend with God, less financial stress and pressure and to seek God's will and purpose for my life and to follow it. Obviously, if we were all alone, humanity would die out. I guess what we can glean from this is, if you are alone, use this freedom to grow your relationship with God. If you are not alone, try to get as much alone time with God as your schedule allows, even if means giving up pleasures in this world. This life is merely the bootcamp to Eternity. Use your time wisely. It will run out faster than you think.

The peace that comes from being alone gives a person time to heal from past relationships and allows a person to grow closer to God. Love yourself enough to wait until God decides if he wants a person to live life alone or in a marriage. 🙏❤️

I don’t agree with your view for the first time l believe it’s anti scripture you mature by getting closer to Christ being alone or getting married don’t give you any advantage if Christ is not in your life in fact we mature more in relationships staying single like Paul is a decision to focus on spreading the gospel and serve others in relationships and the bottom line is it’s a decision we make individually but we have to be careful about our motives Blessings

Jesus stated that there is no marriage in heaven. We will spend most of eternity in heaven. We should rely on God to see if he has someone for us and to let us know if that person is right for us. If he chooses one to be single then it is best for that one to stay single. We may not see it but there are worse things than staying single.
