you wish. its got nothing to do with that.. in the western world our parenting has been interfered with and our children are not a reflection of either our parenting, our values or even our morals in many instances. Maybe before about 1980 this saying would hold true. I treat my parents with respect but my children (as with many of this generation) have no respect for age and lived experience.

exactly.. i would not want to be dependent on anyone at all least of all my children.
