One vital thing you forgot to mention was that along with killing Mewtwo/Deoxys it also SWITCHES INTO THEM. Dark-type is incredibly hard to come across and just having one on your team can greatly reduce the effectiveness of both of those Pokemon, especially so if Mewtwo has Choice Specs and if you scope that out you get a FREE PIVOT with U-Turn.
