Namaste, have you ever wondered why Luxury cars are expensive? Ever thought with just a few more amenities, why Luxury Hotels are so expensive? Are they adding value to the money they charge you? Is it all because of expensive materials? Is it all because of their presentation? Why?

Excellent video as always. Very informative. I do also believe that the advent of social media has been the biggest boon for the luxury segment. Having exclusive things & experiences has become the easist way to artificially raise your social status by flaunting them online. No wonder we no longer get great deals on luxury items like 10-15 yrs back as the demand for exclusive things has skyrocketed in the social media era. Many are now in deep debt because they buy things beyond their means in the hope that it will raise their low self esteem🙂

The most important thing is are companies ready to pay their employees same as they pay in countries where the R&D is done just for example in Germany an 2-3 yrs experience earns more than 6 lakhs per month which in India is impossible for company to pay so that difference makes a lot of difference.

Main thing is upto 200% import duty on all luxury cars. As per some videos of the past, we were told that SIAM is forcing their monopoly on government who are then made to take such decisions. Hotels are charging a bomb these days post COVID which sometimes I can't fathom or justify 🤣

I think that expensive things are expensive because people are willing to pay that much amount for that thing. For few things they sell experience, for few they sell the reputation comes with the brand name, and then some sell the actual product which is worth the price( at least supposed to do so) you know why audi is still going to be expensive, because people are willing to pay that much amount for the rutba that comes with the name audi. If you know what i mean

All that research and development but these expensive cars break all the time. More often than the normal cars. and landrover is known for unreliability. Their resale value drops to nothing even after a couple of years. the tax on these cars are almost70 percent of their exshowroom price. I do not understand why companies like toyota and Honda are more reliable than these "luxury" car cpmpanies? Don't these normal car companies do their research? I would love a video explaining the reliability issues of luxury cars. These companies ought to know. I wanted to buy an Audi A3 but hearing a lot of problems with the reliability thing. Now, I understand why people go for Fortuner instead of these luxury brands.

Mercedes mehengi hai coz Mercedes ko market me mehengi jageh fix mil gayi hai. A brand like Koenigsegg is something jisme aapke points valid hain. Par mercedes imported hai, plus european labor expensive hai isiliye jo bbi wo karte hain uska 5x charge karte hain. Reseaech wagera toh hai, par mehengi cheezen logon ko mehengi feel honi chahiye, price justified ho na ho. Exclusivity ka khwab diya jaye toh basic sa pen bhi 1000 ka bikta hai. Expensive hotel me bhi value itni nai milti jitna charge kiya jata hai. And expensive cheezen ek tareh se exclusive club wali feeling dete hain. Isiliye 5 star hotel me gareeb aadmi ghumega nai, uska charge hai wo. Ki sirf ameer log shanti se reh payen. And same area me kam log honge toh per person cost badh jayegi. Sab khel mindset banane ka hai.
