My Gear changed throughout the video but you want at least 10 magic heal fully geared, ideally you want 13+ magic heal but 10 is still a good number, theres gear like the occultist hood and mystic gloves that'll give base magic healing as a stat, other than that you want healing on your spellbook and necklace as well!

I feel some of WL's healing should be %hp instead of flat. Ideally the curse one, then maybe buff life drain. Because as OP as infinitely healing and tanking can be, building more tanky means you struggle more with killing. It's the combination of good dps and great sustain that's more disruptive than just sitting somewhere, tanking everything but killing nobody.

Dude WHAT can a fighter do against this? Sprint is countered by phantomize. Trading bow shots for curses is a net loss.

You need a better bow than. Or more magic resist. Or even just run move speed and run fists out to keep up with phantomize

great clips, love learning the hellfire trick on the doors, what equips do you recommend running for trios?, i've been having trouble with finding a fixed role on my team, i mainly cast but it seems like the game wants the warlock to go in a more of a spellblade direction

im having a lot of success on torture mastery warlock recently, it is far better than life drain build at the moment, i use bolt of darkness, curse of pain, sacrifice, hydra, and flamewalker

Hey, do you mind giving some kind of explanation to a build? TM warlock is my favorite class/playstyle but I've been struggling with balance of stats. We need: MH, +addi, MS, HP and I always struggle to grab gear with all of the above (absurdly expensive). I see you're running 22 knowledge, would you call that a good spot to be in? I'd be more than happy for any pointers ^^

22 knowledge is pretty bad, i only had this low knowledge because most of my gear that i got was from looting in the caves, my advice is when ur not that geared you should build a magic heal set, but when you are geared i prefer running hydra life drain instead, you dont have to focus on magic heal and you can build up ur move speed and hp and magic damage which is 10x easier!

Nice. I stopped playing when warlock had a few spells, I remember hellfire one shotting people and being really slow, does it still do the same damage? I see it is faster now.

i think it does the same damage yea, it does around 15 damage per 0.1 seconds its insane for bossing

nah they only removed the stacking for curse of weakness, nobody uses that spell anyways it doesn’t change anything

@@Batumplays O, you are correct. I apologize, It would help if I could read... On that note do you know how the stacking works exactly? I still don't know what is occurring on re-apply. I assume the DoT is refreshed and the initial base damage is done again but there is never two DoT's running at the same time.

when i’m fully geared i want at least 310 move speed and 30+ spell casting speed at least, i tend to go for 35%+ though

Why do you use Hellfire on the corner of the doors like that?

its to break the door down while you're chasing someone so you dont have to open it and waste time catching up

He also specifically shoots it up in the corner so when the door breaks he doesn't run into his own hellfire if that's your question.

yea you can spam curse of pain, it’ll do the initial damage everytime with the ticking per second still, kind of like the zap spell for wizards, power of sacrifice isn’t good to use on real players, you only wanna use it on mobs to heal yourself

@@beaugotdrums7821 yea so if you’re doing a magic heal build then for the head you 100% want an occultist hood, i usually like getting my knowledge above 24-25 (this is only if you’re buying a set from the trade market) otherwise you can work with what you get from the dungeon, for spells you want curse of pain, sacrifice, bolt, hydra and flame walker, and perks you want torture mastery, vampirism, anti magic, and the last perk is preference

@@beaugotdrums7821sorry for the late reply, the only way to get better gear is from the trade when you hit lvl 20 and in game just finding stuff, the merchants eventually give you better gear to buy when you complete their quests, the game comes out with more quests each week so make sure to complete those asap before you get overwhelmed by them all in the end

@@cycy8699 Rough breakdown Vigor Health and Recovery when sitting Strenght is Physical dmg Agi is speed (movement looting opening etc) dex is Action speed (so attacking) Will is Magic Res/Dmg and Buff/debuff duration Knowledge is Cast speed/slots Yes it is a little more nuanced but thats a rough thing to stick to
