Why make landscape photography with one camera, one lens, and no Tripod? Is it worth doing?

I think the one lens, handheld thing is very interesting. I bought a zf with its 8stops of vr for this purpose as well as the 24-120. I am hoping this offers more creative freedom without compromising image quality- we shall see.
