Rapper line (Moonbyul & Hwasa) writes their raps while Angel line (Solar & Wheein) are freestyles. Lol. Solar and Hwasa helped teach Moonbyul when she was still learning to be a rapper because she was originally a trained vocalist. Also, the girls are huge fans of Show me the money, a rap competition show. Solar also has a hand in writing and composing their hip hop tracks 1cm taller than you and Sleep in the car. Those crack songs were born out of her conversations with Hwasa and Wheein respectively. I recommend watching their Mmmtv season 1 episode 6: How to play in the car. It's also quite funny.

I think Solar has flows 'cause she's the one encouraging Moon-Byul, supporting her as she transitions from a vocalist to a rapper. She's training as a vocalist, but before they debut, she suddenly has to be a rapper. That's why she has a really hard time during their early days and, as you mentioned before, it was difficult for her to include the raps in that jazz-ish genre. 😭🌊

as for a good laugh, one of my favorites is the 'when manager falls asleep' on pikicast, though they do spoil their new song (at the time) in it, "wind flower" there's also mamamoo tv season 1, episode 6, 'how to play in the car', which includes a rap battle between solar and wheein and also introduces the reason wheein says her nickname is 'vita' in the radio show here. you may need to go to moomoo subs for the version of that with english subtitles, though. it's hit or miss which early mmmtv episodes the official channel went back and subbed and i can't recall if that got subs or not

When Dreamcatcher went to Idol Radio SuA wore the avocado and Dami kept turning it backwards. 😂 Solar raps a little bit. She did in Sleep In The Car, which has a live performance but no MV, and in their Pokemon OST video. Honestly I think that Solar doesn't rap much because Moonbyul and Hwasa are better at it and she often dominates with vocals and visuals as it is. If she does a solo EP I hope she includes a rap or two. Also, rapper Wheein is the cutest rapper and I need more of her. Like, I want an MC Dduk and MC Ddak song on a future Mamamoo album or even just by itself. Mamamoo is overdue for another funny song tbh.

With the title, it happened when solar and wheein always get to be last two to finish filming an mv. And at the set of filming 1cm they just expressed their frustration about getting to sleep in the car with make up on lol! Sleep in The Car is good. 12:27 WHAT WERE THEY CRYING ABOUT? This portion of the broadcast is a personal message relay ...Wheein started crying after Solar gave her message to Moon. Moonbyul's message to Wheein was something like: "You came here to Seoul at a very young age and has been working very hard. I feel so sorry because I didn't take care of you as much as I should have. I promise to take care of you more in the future as your own sister." Just for context, all Mamamoo members have siblings, except for Wheein. She's an only child with divorced parents (tough childhood). Solar & Moon lives with their respective families in Seoul, but Wheein & Hwasa each live alone. 2019 has been tough for Wheein (timeline of this interview) because she suffered from high levels of stress and anxiety. So much so that she had to excuse herself from some of the group's activities. The Mamamoo members have been Wheein's family but because of the demand of their job, Moonbyul feels like she's only meeting with Wheein as a colleague. That's why both are crying. It's such a touching moment.

She gained a few pounds and doesn't give AF about it even if she's an idol. She even flaunts her fats who she calls "new friends" in her live broadcasts. Her introverted routine was sleeping for 10 hrs, eating, playing with ggomo, and watching netflix. While a lot of people are going crazy about blue-haired Wheein, my favorite Wheein will always be the puppy Wheein. Because when she's being cute and adorable, I just know she's comfortable and happy.

Anyone else hoping that MC Dduk and MC Ddak will make an appearance in their next comeback? FYI - there’s a YT guide to MC Dduk and MC Ddak by Purple Hawke that I highly recommend watching. If you’re looking for more crackhead videos, they have their own show called MMMTV that is pretty much behind-the-scenes footage since their debut days. Literally every episode you see them being crackheads. However, you also see their tight bond and watch them grow into the artists they are today. On a side note, not sure if anyone has told you but blue hair Wheein is from their HIP era. She honestly slays the blue hair look!

oh man, sorry to hear about the video you lost because of audio issues. that just really stinks for both you and the fandom it was intended for. there's no way you can fake a 'first reaction' after seeing something already (nor do i think a person should try, but some tend to disagree, including other reactors) mamamoo really are a great laugh when you need one, though, as you're seeing here. they're my go-to any time i'm feeling down a crazy thing about the episode of idol radio they're on here... usually the show has a host that is either a solo artist or a member of a group different than the guests but for some reason the staff decided to have solar/byul be the hosts here while wheein/hwasa were the guests. and, as with any time you leave mamamoo unsupervised, chaos ensued. the show has a one hour runtime and timeslot but this particular episode went half an hour over because the girls are just so over the top. and the staff were enjoying it so much they didn't try to stop them early, they just let them keep going that's something you'll hear about every show they're on as a group. no matter how jaded the staff think they are from doing the same thing over and over, watching actors and idols be themselves or funny (or both), they just can't help but start laughing out loud at mamamoo's antics since these girls have no filter at all. on top of that, the girls are really humble and kind, thanking all the staff after the shows and sometimes even sending/giving them gifts
