Gabriel(LCB) - Saliba(CB) - Ben white (RCB); Rice(LDM) - Timbers (RDM) would be a better defensive unit in my opinion. Then just like city, arsenal can defend with 4 CBs, and their main issue of dealing with crosses/set pieces will also be solved. I would also prefer playing Zinchenko in place of Havertz in that number 10 role when arsenal play a strong pressing team, to help more in the buildup

Moreover, he plays as an 8 for the Ukrainian national team, so he can play that 8 role, the midfield box that arsenal play can transition into a diamond with timber being the DM, rice being the other 8. agree manav...cause jurien timber is very much a john stones profile just 2-3 inches shorter...infact his twin brother quinten also plays a double 6 most of the time...and under ETH he used to invert or rather step up into midfield quite a bit alongwith either licha or mazraoui hence making it a very fluid formation from the back...also if u play zinny, against low blocks the box mid can evolve further into a diamond and the width can be defended in transition with a 451 rest defense where rice drops in as a 4th defender with saliba, gabriel and either timber/white...and a 5 man mid block of martinelli, zinny, havertz, odegaard and saka with jesus as the 1 on top

I believe for some or the other that Pep Guardiola will play with a back 3 of Ake, Dias and Gvardiol. In midfield is where we may see changes as I think at one point in the season, Pep May a try dimanod midfield of stones as the dm, ewith rodri being a little but right of rodri a little up with kovacic as the lcm carrying u the ball and KDB BEING ON TOP OF THE DIAMOND then with a front three of Alverez, Haaland and Silva. At the same i don't how to feel about havertz playing as a no.10 along with odegarrd. Feleix is an ineresting profile but my main issues with him is tht he wouldn't have the defensive workrate to play as a An Advanced interior in xavi's 3-2-2-3+ he fogs onto the ball and often doesn't nprovide himself an as a passing ption like a gundogan does or a pedri does. Barca's pririty should be to bring a rb like arnau/fresnada+bring in cacelo+a left footed interior like Lo Celso. As for Aresnal, i believe timber has to play as one of the wie centerbacks as he is a great ball carrier. DOn't think it would be ge great for timber to be a rb inverting but rather be great as a rcb. The double pivot of Aresnal should be Zinchenko and rice in all honesty.
