Thanks Vasili. Thanks for your overview and description of the Greek communities history and impact on Marrickville. Would like to touch base with you . As you have pointed out , the inner west council recognises , respects and appreciates the Greek communities influence on the area .. I’d say a Greektown model very similar to Toronto’s Danforth ave would be the icing on the cake and would rebirth and stimulate the Marrickville area . Greektown say from Victoria road to Livingstone road or even up to Dulwich Hill , with , Welcome to Greektown and Farewell from Greektown arches at both intersections
