No.. the media aren't overlooking anything. They are choosing to disregard prime asking why. Because they want to continue to push a narrative on prime. But if you watch the video he obviously asked why.. and then the guy couldn't answer. So people want to be mad about him saying he don't want to speak to someone who he gave a chance to say why he's has an issue and he couldn't man up and say why he's a hater. Ok well you can't answer me... I'm not gonna answer your questions. Next and thank you.

I have to say it, Coach Prime doesn’t care about critiques for the sport, but when you’re making personal attacks, it’s a problem. He got face to face with Coach Prime and couldn’t address his problem with him. Which means it’s not about football, he just can’t stand the fact this black man has the confidence, will stand up for himself and the program. He is an absolute legend in sports entertainment and will be remembered for his leadership, dedication and contribution not only to the sports he played, but also in building up those young men.

Criticism, whether justified or not, is an inherent part of coaching. That's why I believe coaching isn't for everyone, especially those who cannot tolerate criticism. The issue becomes even more significant when universities take steps to effectively ban any participant from the process, as this has broader implications, particularly in an era where free speech is increasingly constrained. Banning the media echoes the actions of the National Socialist German Workers' Party in the 1940s, which sought to control public opinion by shutting down or taking over anti-Nazi newspapers, dictating news content, banning and burning books deemed un-German, and controlling what soldiers could write home during World War II. I draw this comparison because, as an amateur historian with experience working in a federal law enforcement agency, I recognize the dangers of such actions. My stance is clear: anyone dealing with the media must have thick skin. The media often behaves in ways we don't appreciate, but it's part of the job. I recall my time as a Public Information Officer for the Department of the Interior during wildfires and the challenges I faced with the media. Despite the difficulties, I persevered because it was my responsibility, and through experience and a commitment to excellence, I overcame the challenges.

As a coach your job is to protect your kids and program at all cost. If a reporter has nothing but negative to say about certain coaches and players why would should you get access to them.

Coach Prime has a right not to deal with certain people in the media. The last I checked this is the USA. Paul is a loud mouth saying nothing baby. An 70 something year old baby. ESPN is the World Wide Leader of Woke. Period. I hope ESPN tanks harder than the new Crow movie.

The annoying thing is that EVERYBODY speaking on this topic doesn’t understand the issue. Here’s a thought, how about inviting a neutral Denver media guy (that covers the team) to any of these shows to fully give context to the discussion 🤔😲

how is it different if a company does not like who they are doing business with they stop doing business with them and nobody bats a eye. They think its bad for there business thats it. Every time we talk to this guy locally who is supposed to uplift the team be apart of the program and ask the rt questions about the program. Actually here has a chance to up his career in a positive way if just would go along with colorado way. He chose the skipbayless way towrds lebron to report and look what got him and now that reporter. they did not banned him but they are not answering his questions or giving him a pass to the locker room or the football games. Prime already has to answer to the National journalists negative comments and now he has someone in his backyard pokeing him in the back. I would of got him outta there too. All the National exposure, money, and people who has jobs can put this on his resume that he reported greatly on the side of the team, there career will catapult. I agree Colorado has never seen anything like this and they are trying to protect this run for as long as they can and benefit from it. If only you would just be a passenger on the glory ride. smdh

Definitely with coach prime. These old media reporters that have never played a min of professional sports with there opinions abt elite athletes, need to understand that ur income comes from there talent. So my suggestion is tread lightly before ur out of a job. U don’t know how far some of these athletes reach can go.

There is one thing to critique someone but another to have personal attacks. Most columnist do give their opinion on thing that are in the context of the sport or decisions made. When you do personal attacks when it comes to writing a person is well within his rights to not interact with a person is a choice. Why interact with them.

Barnes!!! The dude that drove cross country!!! To jump fences he no longer owned the property to!!! Also he on camera spit on somebody. That individual?? So he on record doing things. Not of true MAN. Lives have been lost. Because of the exact actions he did that are on record. Males half his age. Tried his emotional approach. Their lives and or freedom is over!!! That's the only point. To be pointed out!!. Coward if you won't!! Specifically point out. First! Youth, should not look too him. How to resolve issues.

The way things go brother Wiley, is that time will bring everything front and center at some point, regardless of how long those that call themselves having Deion's back, excusing and even co-signing most everything he does, etc.... Deion later said not to make decisions when emotional, pray, etc... Maybe he'll act upon his own advice the next time he perceives extremely adverse circumstances. Maybe through prayer he'll be led to face head on what is at the root of why some of these negative character reviews or personal attacks if you will, are articulated. It is going to keep happening, and worse yet, may end up being clearly seen by the world in a very humbling manner. Sometimes the Lord allows that licking stick to be applied when we don't respond to the preceding whispers in the ear, and ensuing conversations. It is pretty obvious that the reporter is being a shock jock, and Deion has to know that he provides a great platform. Use these opportunities to be great Deion. When intentionally or unintentionally dealing with a jackass, come with some humility, while at the same time, honestly reflecting on your situation. I believe that is what the Lord would have you to do. As a Believer myself, however; I do know that type of thing has to be "you", in order for you to react and to respond by "walking the walk" in that way. Peace

I love Deion Sanders the player but the coach has some humble pie to get through. Most coaches don't film him breaking young men's hearts and telling them they don't deserve a scholarship they had previously earned. Most coaches would try to actually coach these guys up. He went 4-8. If Deion wasn't Deion, would he even have this kind of power. I hope the team does better so it can match Deions behavior

Hang on, Finebaum and others have said this happens all the time. Teams don’t like what a certain reporter has written so they never call on them to ask questions. The difference here is CU and Prime were open about it. So it’s disingenuous for media to complain about restricted access when they themselves say this happens all the time just not openly.
