Players like haaland need to adapt or they go extinct. Since messi-ronaldo era, the role of a traditional striker has diminished significantly, since these two came along, they proved that wingers(who traditionally were there only to create chances for strikers) can score way more goals than strikers since they dribble and score, meaning, they are the source of their goals. And we saw players like vini and rodrygo carry on that role, and even in city, players like foden and bernardo silva are more than capable of dribbling and netting the ball in, so there is no need for them to pass the ball to haaland. And now that even KDB is consistently showing up on the score board, ig he would also reduce the number of assists he gives to haaland since he himself is getting super good at scoring goals. So, things arent looking bright for haaland(at least not enough for him to be compared to mbappe/vini/bellingham/rodrygo) unless he drastically changes his play style
