Ilove this song, too; The words express the "attitude of gratitude" and humility that is often lacking in pubic pronouncements of faith. But yor arrangement highlights the beautiful melody. And that is a good sounding steel!

Zane. Really enjoyed working with you last week at Woody’s Steel Convention in Conway Mo. When we played “Why Me Lord” I was taken back, It had been quite some time since I had played it. My uncle Kenny Buttrey played on the original cut with Chris Kristofferson and I used to play it over and over as a kid working on my chops….Loved it man Good time..Thanks for the fun. Jim Buttrey

I am speaking as a professional musician, having recorded many country albums. \I think your playing an 'feel' for the music is wonderful and can reduce one to tears at times!Thank you so much for the pleasure of listening and watching you play.I would like to see you dressed in some smart 'country' outfits with some nice appropriate 'backdrops' rather than your studio. This would make the full package ! I hope you do not mind my comments.Thank you again.Kind regards,Merle and Roy
