A discrepancy I see is many women seem to say a man settles simply because his wife isn't highly attractive. Little do they know the intangibles those "non baddie" women bring are what mature men look for long term.

Hi Mike can you please describe to me what are the “intangibles” you are talking about, as if you were advising your daughter? I’m a 22 year old girl and after self reflection I discovered that I lack substance and character and therefore I lead with outer beauty cause there’s nothing else. I’m doing all I can to change this cause I don’t want to be that type of woman
@michael43567
@michael43567 2 жыл бұрын
@@dawncosmic90 firstly, that's very introspective of you to realize that, admit it, and want to change. Especially for a 22 year old. So here's my list (in order of importance): 1 Calmness. We don't want a ratchet woman. Behave like a respectable woman. You can be fun, but don't be reckless & embarrass us. And definitely don't be physically or verbally aggressive. 2 Loyalty. We want a woman who we believe will always have our back. Money or not, happy or sad. Links to the first characteristic because a calm woman is likely to be more rational & not initiate a divorce (disloyalty) simply because she "FEELS" unhappy. Nowadays marriage is a concern for us because women initiate divorce at nearly 80%. Divorce is disloyalty in my eyes. Unless it's completely mutual. 3 Coachable. (Real) men are leaders. We want what's best for both of us & our family. So if we give a critique, know it's coming from a good place. Don't lash out. Make an effort to improve. 4 Understanding. A woman that somewhat understands the struggles & pressure of being a man. We don't even need gifts, just acknowledgement & understanding. Don't just use us like a checkbook. 5 Not Triggering The Male Ego. Similar to #4, understanding the triggers of men & don't trigger them. Certain things we don't like but won't necessarily say to you. E.g hugging guys, having male friends, partying regularly. Or insulting a deficiency we may have e.g beard, height, hairline, teeth, dick size. Male ego is fragile & the main reason for all these gang wars. There's more like intelligence & sense of humor, but these 5 came to mind.

Hey Michael, I love the answer you gave. It's men like you that gives the next generation hope. Despite what men think, women love to hear more of what men want than not want. I think the not want conversation is counter-productive if you never say specifically what you do want. Then elaborate on it so the ladies can be clear. When there are so many men saying different things the chatter can be confusing. So, thanks for being clear.

2:33:15 as a married woman, I would never go to friend for advice in marriage, unless its an older woman who's been successfully married for at least 25 years, or who shares the same value/moral system as my husband and I. Most women are feminist with an us vs them mentality, hence why they need a sisterhood...

Shanice gave you terrible advice; the more you learn how most men think and how many many men think and operate; the better decisions you can make to choose good men and avoid bad men. A father, a brother and or someone who is a trusted friend can help vet a man. Even if you are not looking, you can actually also teach other young women how to choose a good man.

I love how honest Trill’s answers are. I never get a pandering vibe from him. He seems to see things in a way where he has an understanding of the bigger picture. I have a lot of brothers and uncles in my family and his responses often remind me of conversations I have with them. I think many men marry who is around at the time they feel that they are ready to make that commitment. It doesn’t have to be a negative or a positive, but it is reality for many people. In terms of attraction, I think a man’s ego can be his greatest advantage or his worst enemy. The same things that appealed to him during the chase, are often times seen as a deterrent when he has to face the possibility of other men desiring his woman/wife.

It’s a toxic trait of wanting what you can’t have. People are attracted to the chase and just because a man spins the block doesn’t always mean he wants you, he may be bored so be very careful with that. Don’t ignore the signs just because you want a husband you know that man had a taste for something else. Men are simple creatures

🌬️💨💨💨 Let's be Honest: Most beautiful women are VERY vain and superficial...it is what it is.🤷🏽‍♀️ Gorgeous women feel as though they have MANY options and don't treat men like they're NEEDED. They treat the men as though they should be so privileged to be with them...smh. On the other hand, Plain Jane's go out of their way to please a man and KEEP a man. They don't throw in men's faces that they have "options" or constantly focus on their physical aesthetics...huge difference!

Its crazy how people can't be themselves. The judgement is SUPERFICIAL. We've moved so far away from the spiritual and soulful conversations. Fingers pointing, bashing, and then it's called being...real. Who are any of us to able to put someone on a meter and judge them? It's arrogant. I applaud Saira - she seems down to earth. God forgive us!

This question about do men settle, Kayla is getting it all wrong. She’s under the assumption that most men want the finest woman around to marry and if he’s with someone not as fine, he married the best he can get and has settled. I totally disagree with that. The problem is that Kayla thinks most men want to marry the baddie. In reality most men want to sleep with the baddie, he want to have fun with the baddie, he may even want to show her off so he can be seen with the baddie. But when men think marriage, they think differently. Some men will marry the baddie if she has substance. But I believe most men will take a beautiful plain Jane that has more to offer than an airhead baddie any day. That’s why you will hear a man say “I’ve been with all kinds of women but he want to marry this one particular woman” and she may not have been as beautiful as another woman in his past but he chose her. So I just think she off in her logic.

Am I the only one that's extremely irritated with"Taylor?". I noticed she mainly interrupts "Saira" and picks on her?. That shyt is highly irritating. her examples of her so-called "experiences" is sketchy to me, very SELF-CENTERED!. LOVE this channel and the topics though, I stay tuned in. this is just MY OPINION!One more thing! I am positive some of(or all of) you guys,, may have heard this before, that some women/men CHOOSE to be single, not HAVE to be! LOL!! QUEEN SHIBA! THANK YOU! For speaking the truth out loud about that internet"chick" who thought she was a "baddie" LMFAO😂. You said what I was literally thinking!

1:39:40 Wait… why is being called plain considered to be disrespectful??? Plain means a woman is natural… it does not mean she let her self go, and it doesn’t mean she’s ugly or homely. I think the men on this panel could have held down that part of the conversation on their own.
