No, it’s not games, it’s understanding that men have differences built into their DNA (and culturally), and that in the earlier stages of a relationship, women tend to inadvertently push men away by chasing them and coming across as needy. It sucks that it has to be like this, and certainly there are men who are not as much like that, but if you want the end result to be him falling for you, give him space. The best answer is always within ourselves. This struck a chord with me. At that age in my mid 30s where it's considered old by people in Singapore. But I realised it's not good to be needy. I definitely grew way too nice and I realised it was neediness, and thinking i need to take the first step,instead of just taking it easy. Have also met a guy last year who was very enthusiastic at first then started to back away when he realised my age. That affected my confidence. But nowadays I am at that point where I can tell myself there are still lots of opportunities even if some men or women in my society don't think so due to ageism. Suposing that the man is a mature person and not a big child, it all depends on his preferences and the way the girl can fulfill them. I'm always myself, I don't play games and some men were really attracted to me for years and others just at the begining and then they ignored me. I honestly think that all of these golden advices mean nothing . I have watched so many of these videos, hoping that I will find my answer, all it does ,its just giving you the illusion of a fake hope . I was living / being ( well that's what I thought,that's what we have told each other) best friends... then he fell for me and I would always pull away ,until this moment that I realized he is the one for me . I apologised , I told him how I felt , I told him I wanted to make things work, to care for him , to love him ... he wasn't sure , then I went silent on him, then after some time he invited me for lunch, I agreed to go, when we came back home, it was like we both fell in love with each other, deeply, we said we love each other ,,we cried , kissed, made love . The next day he said , he doesnr want to be together and that he is really really sorry . I'm left with a broken heart now , I'm hurting so badly ... he had deleted my comments.. everything, he said he is sorry just like that. When a day earlier he said he loves me and also wants to make things work . We spend almost everyday with each other , for a year . ( we were roommates too ) he has now moved out. Honestly. Those advices are meaningles!!!!!

In my experience it’s not like that, even though it may feel like that. It’s just about understanding psychologically what’s going on with the guy and what’s built into his DNA. It’s really something to be conscious of more in the early stages of the relationship, as words and behavior that come across as clingy to him before you’re deep into a commitment with him will no longer feel that way to him once he’s had time to catch up to where you are. My ex and I started texting again. He pulled away yesterday . But it was only after he asked me how I was doing. I replied n asked him a question to carry on the convo.. he didn’t reply tho he had started the convo. I wonder if he’s afraid of things going too fast.. Mebe he wants to hold me at arms length so to be “safe”.. not get hurt or go so fast tht they go back to how things used to be. Or he could be testing me. I used to get anxiety so bad when he would pull away tht I would get mad at him cuz I felt like I was being ignored. I would send him a lot of texts accusing him of ignoring me in the past .. so this could b a test. I kno he loves me n tht he’ll b back but I still can’t help but wonder
