It is no secret that we love Mexico- you know that by now. So today we wanted to talk with foreigners in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas to find out why they chose to visit Mexico, what they think of Mexico, and more.

@itsyoboy Mexico does not qualify for asylum, refuge ext.. for violence, hunger kidnapping, femicide, political government ext... México qualifies to be threatened by the UN of fine, for not providing a nutritional meal, adequate roof, secure place to who qualify for such reasons. They enter to stay in Mexican, or pass to the US because they qualify there... even integration classes. People come screaming... the violence they stand in Mexico, to reach the US, when they are allowed to the US and Mexico because the UN haves them qualified under inhuman violence in their countries. When the worst scene you've seen of violence Mexico, doesn't even get an application for the reasons they are there for. And if they decide to stay in Mexico they will say in news interviews.. Mexico is dangerous but we will stay. They qualify to stay in Mexico because they live in inhuman violence, health, hunger, femicide ext.. And say this. Maybe that's what people mean by.. Mexico is not what the media portrays. These people have never heard of violence next to their country names, and Mexico is shocked other countries have violence in the content other than Mexico. You hear caravans but naver the names of the the countries next to the crimes they are there for. But Mexico is synonymous with the crimes that get others asylum, refugg.. ext. Even Europe is taking them. Mexico also brings refugees from other contents. Mexico haves more from any South America country than any South American or Central American country. Mexico haves more from any Central American country than any South or Central American country. Mexico have more US than any country in the world..same for Canada. Mexico qualifies to enter the US, like first world countries $, although Mexico is not.

itsyoboy U.S. it’s full of psychopaths, drug addicts and shooters. That is what the mainstream media says, is that what the U.S. is? Of course not. Mexico has a problem with the narco, but remember, there is not offer if it’s not demand and believe me, we are not demanding that drugs.

I love Mexico because there are so many beautiful and diverse cities to visit. I've been there twice; 2 years and 4 years ago. The cathedrals are amazing, especially in Guanajuato, Morelia, Guadalajara and Merida. Lovely food, coffee, tequilla; very clean streets, beautiful beaches and nice people too. I'm returning to Mexico for a 3rd visit in 2 weeks time. I'll be visiting both San Miguel de Allende and Puerto Vallarta for the 1st time, before revisiting Guadalajara and Mexico City, staying in the Coyoacan area of DF (home of Frida Kahlo). I'm from London and am loving your vlogs. Cheers.

Talking to the foreigners visiting Mexico reminds me of when I back to Caye Caulker Belize in the off-season. The place was filled with Europeans and people from all over the world. I asked a beautiful Danish blonde why Belize being it's so small? She told me it's the new Maldives, only cheaper... The waters are the same colors as the Maldives and it had great diving. I was one of only 2 Americans on our scuba trip. We had people from Australia, Denmark, Spain, Israel, England, Italy, Russia, Portugal, etc. I was amazed by the cultural diversity of people enjoying the islands for vacation. I ran into a lot of backpackers on that trip that toured the Caribbean side of Mexico, Belize and Guatemala.

Israelis are huge travelers. I traveled for 3 years, backpacking. Israelis leave for their big trip of at least a year duration right after the army. But I found that their regions of travel said a lot of about the kind of traveler/person they are. Those who go to India/Southeast Asian are longer haul travelers who may want to travel indefinitely...and they are kind of burnt out from Israeli life...and those countries are cheaper...so they can make the journey longer. They tend to be more hippie/ravey/rebellious. Those who do South American tend to do one year trips with fixed endings. They're a little more likely to re-integrate and most have career tracks, graduate degrees and job prospects. They dress a bit less hippie and a little more Patagonia.

Visit Toniná Ruins, it’s near Ocosingo, on your way to Palenque and the waterfalls (Agua Azul and Misol-Ha. I am not sure that there are tours from San Cristóbal to Toniná, but it is worth hiring a private driver. Needless to say that Palenque Ruins are a must see; however, my favorite ruins in all of Mexico are Yaxchilán, and you only get there after a 40 minute boat ride in the Usumacinta River from the small town of Frontera Corozal. Bonampak is also a great place to visit. I’m so jealous that you guys are in Chiapas, best place on earth!
