Admirals are levels below mihawk, even the old admirals like akainu kizaru aokiji(at the time) were below mihawk. Mihawk would win 1v1 against whitebeard at marine Ford. As long as mihawk commands one of the only 2 black blades in one piece, not to mention that his sword is a supreme sword meanwhile ryumas is not. As long as there is not a third black blade, there is no discussion about mihawk vs other swordsman. Mihawk and ruyma on another level, and that's facts.

Well if u think about it... Migawk never used a single named attack ever throughout the series... And those attacks u see at marineford were like basic slashes that he used without even exerting his haki into his sword.... So wb sons blocking a non named attack and protecting wb is not something great if u consider thr fact he never really tried using his power.... And admirals won't stand a chamce against mihawk in a 1 v 1

If you look in the one piece community you have so many different opinions on how strong mihawk is, some people have him over roger and some people have him weaker than shanks.

Admirals not standing a chance against mihawk? Your actually crazy if you think that.. If we're talking previous admiral Aokiji and up (Akainu) then i have both of them beating mihawk in a 1v1 extreme difficulty The admirals are as strong the yonko (in my opinion) and im just finna debunk “yonko are stronger than admirals” arguments. -It is stated that under Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, the Marine HQ has grown more powerful than EVER BEFORE. -A single Admiral is considered the strongest military power of the HQ so you can't say "Marine HQ has become stronger because NUMBERS" or something like that. -They have been put into the same sentence by don chinjao, saying that luffy needs to trounce the admirals and the yonko to become pirate king. They are both stepping stones that luffy needs to surpass. -Both can cause island wide damage and can fight for days -Both can defeat YCs with little difficulty with Marco being an exception (a vice admiral put seastone cuffs on him and big Mom said she doesn’t have enough souls to deal with Marco) -Both possess good haki with some having powerful devil fruits -Roger told a marine to bring garp or sengoku, implying that they are enough of a challenge for roger. If an admiral is an enough of a challenge for a yonko what makes you think that the current admirals can’t do the same with the current yonko. Now I will try and debunk every “yonko is stronger than admiral” argument: 1.“Whitebeard destroyed akainu despite being sick, injured and old”: First of all whitebeard attacked akainu from behind with a devil fruit that is capable of splitting islands in half, and old age, sickness or injury doesn’t nerf the destructiveness of the devil fruit. It still destroyed marineford when he hit akainu in the rib. So he attacked akainu with that devil fruit with akainu retailiating by melting 1/3 of his face off, then right at that moment whitebeard hits him again. Akainu still carried on to pursue luffy the next chapter. 2. “If the admirals are as strong as yonko then there wouldn’t be any yonko”: I understand that argument and I’ve heard it a lot but let’s say for example 2 admirals were sent to take down a yonko: Any of the other 3 Yonkou go on the move, the Revolutionary Army capitalizes on the situation or someone attacks the Tennryubito like Luffy did. The Fleet Admiral will be at the HQ, so that leaves 1 Admiral to try and deal with 5 disparate situations. Is simply not realistic. Even in the time of Roger only 1 Admiral would chase him around at a time. The WG’s highest penalty is just 1 Admiral coming after you. Nothing in the story ever indicates that the Marines send out multiple Admirals for the same issue. 3. “Why do the navy need warlords in order to counter the yonko”: This I’d say is the best argument out of the bunch. However, the yonko aren’t just individuals. They have armies, territories, commanders and so on. Even when big mom was going to meet kaido one of the vice admirals said “the emperors can only be stopped by the admirals or the seven warlords”, not both together. So this isn’t necessarily a case that the yonko are stronger than the admirals, it’s just that all the yonko crews together including commanders + allies are too much for the navy, thus needing the warlords. The vice admirals also seem to vary in strength too, with one getting low diffed by bartolomeo and others like gion and tokikake are admiral candidates. So it’s because the warlords can counter any allies + crew members. And yes I’m assuming it is 4 yonko= 7 warlords and the navy. Oda didn’t exactly make it obvious which out of the two it is but it would be silly to assume that they equal 1 yonko since the whitebeard pirates stated to be the strongest crew got crushed by the navy. 4. “The yonko are portrayed higher”: Because currently we are facing the yonko and they’re the current enemies. In east blue Don Kreig had such high portrayal at the time, he was the first character to own a fleet, with epithets such as “pirate fleet admiral” and “ruler of the east blue”. But now we have long past east blue saga and does he seem as impressive as his portrayal suggested back then? The admirals and the yonko are both the 4 strongest characters in each of their factions, with 1 from each group being set up to be luffys final antagonists (Blackbeard and Akainu). A portrayal standpoint backing up my as to why yonko=admiral. 5. “The navy had to use underhanded tactics against the whitebeard pirates to win and if they didn’t then they would’ve lost”: This is a silly one to be honest. It’s like saying “big mom had to use underhanded tactics against germa 66 because if she didn’t then germa would’ve taken down big mom”. Of course the opposing side would use underhanded tactics to make things easier this is how conflicts naturally are.

Would that admiral even want to fight Mihawk, not because of fear, but because Mihawk’s not really a pirate (well not by choice), he just wants to live in peace, and find a worthy rival. Fujitora would probably fight him, because he’s a powerful swordsman, but he probably wouldn’t be interested in killing him or taking him in. He would probably play dumb like he did with Luffy, but instead of it being from his foes purity, it’s simply because there’s nothing about Mihawk he could dislike, he was so disgusted by the world government, that he blinded himself. He would probably see Mihawk’s path as the one he should have taken. Hell he was close to just throwing a meteor on the celestial dragon’s, and his comrades, not caring about doing his job.

As Oda showed during Amazon Lily, the BB crew is one that takes on many scattered encounters. Oda could potentially match Mihawk with Shiryu to showcase class etc. As we've seen with Marco, losses aren't necessarily career defining in OP. It depends on how they are portrayed in the narrative. I think there's several matchups Oda can make even with figures yet seen as unimportant to showcase Mihawk's potential. The end of Op isn't as near as people think, theres still several arcs and years away. As we've seen with Sabo---- as an endgame character Mihawk can definitely get several matchups. Oda saved him thus far for a reason. Sabo already faced an admiral TWICE, Burgess once and the BB pirate crew already and he was reintroduced PTS.

You know just watching this video made think of when and why they introduced Mihawk so early in the series. Mihawk could actually be the strongest pirate currently because since he’s the greatest swordsman then that also means he can contend with the strongest pirates fighting them with a sword. A sword. He doesn’t die. He comes out alive. Plus he knows hand to hand combat. You can tell by the neck chop he did to Zoro. So the greatest pirate who was among the very strongest pirates was Roger. And we know that Shanks is among the greatest pirates because he is a haki master, a swordsman and pirate emperor. He’s on his way to becoming the next greatest pirate. This is Luffy’s story though. Shanks could be doing things for Luffy so he could become the next pirate king, aka the greatest pirate in the world. So Zoro is Luffy’s firstmate and strongest crew member in the story. He is the next strongest pirate who will be standing along side the next greatest pirate, Luffy, to change the world and witness the changes that the world will go through. I think we need both types of characters and the support characters to accomplish the end goals of the story. Think about it Mihawk showed up so early to show us how scary characters like him are. Zoro is the firstmate and the one who is always supporting Luffy. We had to see the next strongest pirate be born to support the next greatest pirate. The strongest pirate is perfectly suited to support the greatest pirate to enact worldly change.

To correct Moria didn't do anything wrong/illegal as a Warlord. All he did was hunt down and suppress pirates that were approaching the end of Paradise and adding their shadows to his army. His fault was becoming too weak to justify staying a Warlord.
