The main reason the new miis bug me so much is that they suffer from same face syndrome. At a glance they look alright but looking at them as a collective, they just look the same. With Miis, every one felt so unique and there is so many differences to them other than clothing, eye wrinkles and hairstyle. Miis felt so unique with so much care put into them while the new avatars feel so corporate and without any personality

I still think it's a li'l crazy how much mii craze still holds hard for some people. But then, I was personally never that big a fan of 'em in the first place, not really a fan of the style. Maybe if the level of Miitopia customization was how good their *base* customization was I'd be more into it, but eh. Good for people who like 'em that they're still an option at least. More options are almost always a good thing.
