I didn't really care they stopped playing those ska songs, what made me disappointed was that they stopped playing the faster songs like Mr. Clean, Friends till the End or Trendy Winds. Life on a Plate is their best album by far in my opinion, along with Same Old Tunes.

They started playing fast songs again on their last two albums. Unfortunately their music has been really bad since (including) Machine 15.

Sad when you hear an artist talk about strategy and not just playing what they loved and what people originally listened to them for.

Bands are pushed and get hyped when they come out, a few years later they disappear. Millencolin are still going on. The reason is, they are a band based on friendship and substance. There members are so sympathetic and kept on earth. They share their success and act in equal rights. Maybe that is typical for Sweden. I follow them sind 1997 and even today i am totally charmed by this great band.

When Millencolin stopped being "melodic", I tapped out. Still a fan though! Giving Life On a Plate a spin tonight. Give Teenage Bottlerocket some love.
