I had a Chinese girlfriend for 12 years, and this guy is spot on, although it is very rare to see the truth spoken about it. She and all her friends, after a few drinks usually, would express their disgust at particularly black races, saying that they were nothing more than 'dirty animals'. They told me that this is the opinion of the Chinese people overall. I did not share their opinion, but it was a bit of a shock as I did not expect such blatant racism from the Chinese. They were also obsessed with staying out of the Australian sun and keeping their skin as light as they could, as the darker skin of the southern Chinese was seen as belonging to the inferior laboring class, in their opinion. Meanwhile I would go to the beach and get a deep tan, but apparently it is ok to be ''sun brown''', as long as you are really a white person. I would love to see these facts all over the western media, but there is as much chance of that as a western politician not being a traitor.

If they do this, if at all, it’s most likely because they have nobody that can communicate in English and it becomes awkward. If you asked Japanese people you’d probably get an opposite answer. If anything the whole idea of foreigners coming to Japan is racist. Let me explain. Because of certain historical events and political circumstances, many foreigners treat the Japanese as less than and treat the country like a Disneyland resort, particularly the military personnel. They are pretty much allowed too much freedom and have done a lot of terrible things. Restaurant and nightclub owners have to pay for the insurance if they cause any tribals and there’s not much they can do as a remedy to this. So in order to avoid having their businesses shut down they would rather just cut their losses and ban foreigners from entering. Again, there are many, MANY establishments that allow foreigners. Focusing on the few that don’t also entry makes you look entitled. Not everyone has to like you and you aren’t entitled to our time just because you come from a foreign country. Many times I’ve had foreigners try and disrespect me and my friends in our own country. I grew up in the west and I can say that you guys are 1000x more racist towards Asians than Asians are towards foreigners in Asia, so quit whining. Also there’s no such thing as “race” in Asia. You’re either a foreigner or you’re not. So playing the race card here won’t work.

I’m a dark skinned black dude, I went to Thailand this year and I had a great time overall with the Western Tourists, but when it came to Thai women, they usually wanted nothing to do with me (while they worshipped white guys), so I completely ignored them. I also noticed that the body wash in one of my hotels had a _bleaching_ agent, a lot of staff had tan skin with white make up over it, which looks terrible. I took a cab and the driver said to my friend that she was beautiful because she is white and that I should get cleaned- which was kind of a joke and I didn’t take it personally at all, but it just goes to show the mentality- that was in Chang Mai which is in the North, maybe Bangkok is different but I didn’t stay there long. My point is that the Thais are obsessed with white.

But I noticed that the ones who told me they prefer white men were the darker skin Thai girls. A lot of it has to do with money. They assume a white man will provide more for them. There was one Thai teacher I met she spent a night at my hotel in Bangkok. She was a light skin Thai like Chinese light skin. She was into black men. I'm a late 50s single black guy from the UK. I've been thinking about possible retirement destinations and decided to visit the Philippines, to see what all the 'passport bros' fuss was about. I spent 3 weeks exploring Cebu, Negros (Dumaguete), Bohol and Luzon (Baguio, Manila). So will I be retiring there? No. For various reasons. One of which is the general belief in the white ideal. This is clearly evident from the huge stocks of skin whitener creams that are openly available. Indeed, I asked a pharmacy shop assistant if lighter skin is more beautiful, to which she replied "Yes", giving me a look as if to say 'Duuuh!' W.r.t. the opposite sex, my only positive interactions were with bar girls, who'd sit and chat when offered a drink (i.e. money). Otherwise, I found Filipinas to be very standoffish. In conclusion, I think the Philippines is a viable option for white or light skinned guys, but for me, as a dark skinned guy, the isolation would be too much.

Playing basketball with some Chinese classmates (who I thought were my friends) I learned that they would call me an idiot in mandarin (ni shi shabi... or something like that). You could be right. But I am White and very fit and 6 feet tall and wealthy. And I never even bother with American women. I only date women when I am not in the U.S. I like Thailand. You should travel to some Asian countries ,you might be surprised at the different attitude of the women. I find American women in general very intitled and masculine.

The problem with some ideologies it’s that they have some reality components attached to it as well as imaginary components attached to it. This is only possible because ideology auto-perpetuates itself through stories that people willingly want to believe because people have bias towards stories, and this bias to stories is only possible because no one want to face reality as it is so they prefer to escape reality and also it’s time-consuming to materialistically proven past reality. This way stories persist as mean to pass on traditions and people are more and more hardwired to believe them due to socio-politico-economical factors, thus ideology will persist too, and the skewed views of the world will continue forever sadly. Ideology will never be pure with only reality components attached to it. So remember this has nothing to do with you, this is the weird and horrifying balance that keeps society functioning the same way there is this weird and horrifying food chain balance that keeps nature functioning.
