Its so funny how early opinions on this meta were all so wrong. Miraidon is the weirdest cause we thought it would be strong day one but got convinced it was awful early on just to actually be strong as predicted. It makes the beastcoast videos kinda funny cause the time they take to edit the meta shifts

Poor Dondozo, it's such a classic for this generation. I mostly play singles but initially I tried a substitute set but it seems that a life orb / Tera flying set is probably the best for singles. I've had a lot of fun with this Pokemon so far who I've happily named Thunder dragon zord!

This is why you don't assume that a Pokemon is mid just because it's abilities aren't good enough test the Pokemon strength if it's going to the result you need to win games don't just assume that the Pokemon that is mid.

I have a general rule when playing Pokémon: No matter what it is the moment I see a Pokémon in team preview (or even just glancing over something in team builder) I will never count it out or think of it as “overrated”, illogical, etc. It blew my mind first when people told me “Miraidon is pretty mid.” I immediately thought there is not a single Mon I’ve come across in a team that didn’t have some kind of purpose (with the exception of maybe some teams I’ve played against in beginner rank when starting Sw/Sh and S/V respectively) so I’ll be patient and wait to see if it actually is mid. Well I’m happy to now have seen someone prove Miraidon is pretty good 💙💜

I am not sure if you'll see this in time but I was wondering if someone can explain something for me. I am going to the LA regionals and noticed that the event is 24th-26th. If the torney proper starts on the 25th what is happening on the 24th? Is it the registration or are there other things to do while there and that first day is a sort of free day? I have never been to a regional so I have no clue.

Hope this reaches you in time! The official competition doesn’t start until Saturday the 25th but there’s side events and event registration that happens on the 24th in case you get in early

I think a big part of it was because people were originally building around it wrong. A lot of the early iterations of Miraidon teams weren’t nearly as strong as supporting Miraidon itself. Should’ve been looking at it like you did with such a good ability and stats
